Turpentine as Medicine? The Medicinal Healing Benefits of Terpenic Oil

I learned so much from reading this book. Just know learning all of the benefits of gardening, and trees. Very informative!

The title is "Turpentine as Medicine" However in it's short 28 pages it conveys virtually nothing on turpentine's medicinal usage or uses. It's a shallow, generic, uninformed, cut and paste of information from the internet as best I can tell. You'll find no mixtures, remedies, case studies or anecdotal evidence on turpentine's medicinal uses. Some simpleton looking to make a buck of of an afternoons work creating this document. Save your money.

This is a pretty informative book, however, I would have like to see some of the remedies. Short and sweet.

Very informative and eye-opening! Before reading about this book, I had watched Tony Pantalleresco's excellent youtube videos about how and why TREE GUM SPIRITS (aka NATURAL turpentine) has always been historically used as a natural remedy against many different kinds of ailments. Well, all the many good things that Tony shows in his video, are but brief and his videos are excellent. BUT BOOKS LIKE THIS fill in all the other data and methods and HISTORY and traditions of usage that Tony did not have time to get into in his otherwise somewhat short videos. This book is a must buy if you agree with Tony Pantalleresco and other natural healers like him, and if you are plagued with various ailments that you would rather or prefer to heal naturally. It is short and sweet but VERY informative and VERY eye opening!

It's a very short book that I got through in minutes. I bought the digital version. If you are looking for a how to book, this isn't it. With this book you will learn a lot provided you know how to read between the lines. For legal and medical reasons the author can not go into great detail, that's why you have to read between the lines. It's not hard to figure out. So many bad or less than favorable reviews, so sad folks didn't read between the lines.

The amount of information on turpentine in this book is paltry. It's as if someone just regurgitated the Wikipedia page for a high school project and then asked for money. There's also zero information on dosing or how to safely use turpentine for medicinal purposes, which the author seems to favor. I'm not going to cry over the $2.99, but seriously, save your money.

Does not live up to the title. I expected more information on the medicinal uses of turpentine. There is information on the subject here and there in the book but mostly it is about the history manufacture and types of turpentine. The book is thinner than I expected. The book is in fine new condition so I gave it 3 stars.

The history of turpentine has been lost and this book reminds us of things our grandparents knew that we probably thought was too "old fogey" and we opted for more expensive options. There are times you just don't need a sledge hammer when a simple effort will do!! Make truly informed decisions.

The information contained in this book is going to change my life. The information is accurate, well written and well researched. The uses of turpentine along with its history are clearly outlined.

One of the shortest books ever printed. The information was basic and could have been be been assessed on U Tube at no cost. Definitely not worth the money paid.
