Excellent product & non fishy tasting

Good product

I bought Natural Factors RxOmega-3 Fish Oil to support my eye health, since I'm trying to maintain weight and tend to undereat, and don't get enough seafood at home otherwise. A lot of fish oils market themselves as having "no fishy aftertaste" but actually achieve that by adding artificial flavoring on top, which I find unnatural. Thankfully this one doesn't rely on that. The soft gel is a little bigger, but it uses enteric coating, which means it dissolves in your intestine rather than your stomach, and with enough water it goes down smoothly. I'd recommend taking it with/after food after a full meal, so it'll dissolve properly and absorbs effectively with no fishiness. I've have taken it after a lighter meal, and while I did experience a slight fishy smell in my burp, but barely noticeable. As I've taken it for almost a month now, I've noticed my eyes are less dry. I think whether it's for immune support, eye care or general health, this one is worth a go! The price is also reasonable for how large and how many capsules are in a container.

All natural...just what I needed for brain health. Wish I would have started taking it many years ago!

I was taking a prescription product, Lovaza. But, it got to be too expensive. So, I wanted to find a very high potency Omega 3 at a reasonable price. I think this is one of the highest potencies I've found and at a very reasonable price. I'll find out in a couple days how this compares to Lovaza as I have some blood work being done. I'll be able to compare my results after the Lovaza to now that I've been taking this product. I'm very curious to see if my cholesterol and triglycerides are just as good on this as compared to the Lovaza.

I have been looking for a good Omega-3 for a long time. I don't eat fish. Absolutely don't like fish. But I know I need Omega-3 fatty acid in my diet desperately. When I searched for a non fishy Omega-3, this was the first to pop up. No fishy aftertaste. No fishy burps. No fishy smell. Great health benefits. The capsules are large but easy to swallow. Since I started with this Omega-3 over a year ago, I have noticed a big difference in my labs for lipids and cholesterol. Definitely been a good choice and option.

Ich esse so gut wie nie Fisch. Kein Wunder, wenn man erhöhten Blutdruck hat und auch Thrombose, etc. gefährdet ist. Somit ist das eine gute Alternative zum tägl. Fischverzehr, der sowieso belastet ist. Bei dem Begriff ‚ Pharmazeutische Qualität ‚ hätte ich stutzig werden sollen. Leider ist das Produkt auf Ethyl Basis hergestellt. Das habe ich leider erst nach Anbruch der Dose festgestellt. Gefunden habe ich dazu folgendes : Fischölkapseln mit Omega 3 in Ethyl Ester Form (EE-Form): Hier wird durch Aufbereitung ein höherer Omega 3- Fettsäureanteil im Öl erreicht. Die molekulare Destillation zum Beispiel verbessert die Reinheit und entfernt mögliche Verunreinigungen über die Norm hinaus. Die Ethyl-Ester Form hat allerdings eine ungünstigere Resorption und Bioverfügbarkeit durch den Körper.
