Exactly as described
I needed to apply some self-leveling caulking around our pool area. The cartridges were not the normal size and I realized I needed a larger caulking gun, preferably within a day or so, in order to complete this project. The Dripless CR400 arrived as promised within a day and works like a charm. No complaints. Its metal, no plastic parts. As long as it doesn't start rusting, I'm sure I'll have it for years to come.

Strength required
Who knew how much hand strength was required to operate this caulk gun I used for 28 oz cement glue. It is good material but for a female the size made it tough; had to use two hands but got the job done.

Easily Broken spring
DONT BUY THIS This is the big version of a small cheap gun. Althoug npriced in the mid $20 range, the spring mechanism that pushes the material through the tube, is too weak and will break when squeezing. When working with large tubes, its a better idea to have a much more quality spring. This will ensure thst you're not flexing as hard as you can with 2 hands for proper application. I purchased my new gun from Newborn, and the differnce is night and day. Do more research before buying this gun just because it is available.

Not contractor grade, not recommended.
Sorry folks, I can’t recommend this one. On my first use, the trigger would not grab and push the plunger into the tubing of adhesive. It continued to slip with pulling on the trigger. Within a few tried the trigger would not grip the plunger shaft at all. I tried to reseat the tube and the plunger and adjust the trigger grip to no avail. Rather frustrating when you are in the middle of a job and a new tool fails. I tried to service it and then gave up on it and threw it in the trash. Ended up cutting the tube of adhesive and using a putty knife to get me through the task at hand. Disappointing.

Revolutionary
Sceptical of the dripless claim but purchased never the less. Amazing product. Actually is dripless. No cleanup messes and easy control of flow for filling variable width cracks. Cuts caulking time by at least a factor of 2 (probably more). Highly recommended. Will transform your caulking.
