Works very well on my sailboat. The unit provides 24VDC to the refrigeration unit while on shore power. Once shore power it disconnect, it automatically switches to the house 12VDC power. The refrigeration unit automatically switches between 24VDC and 12VDC

This is not a "plug and play". I bought it for a Waeco Dometic CF-18 which has the cigarette lighter only. This is something you wire directly to a battery, and hard mount to a unit. What I needed (i THINKo WAS A mps-50. You plug in the 12 volt cigarette lighter and then into 110 wall.Now I am looking at a WHOPPING 25% restock fee, I paid $13 shipping to start and have to pay additional shipping to return. THEN they will think about cutting me a check for 75%.Hope this helps. Picture shows only the 110 side not all the BARE wires...and special "inserts".Instructions were minimal and I could not find you tube.NOTE: Prices are better here on Amazon.

The out-put leads go directly to the +,- terminals of ur d/c fridge DanFoss ,(not the battery as said by someone else above) , then plug into 110v,a/cIf u want a/c only do above. If u want a/c and d/c compatibility , put the converter +,- out-put leads together with the +,- battery leads that connect to the fridge.So u will have 2 wires for +, that plug ontoFridge, And 2 for - . Now u have full a/c and full d/c operation. As specified by mfg.
