Motor runs quite hot
Nice kit for making your own cup turner. All parts appear well made and work well in conjunction with other pieces. This turns at around 3-4 RPM. Nice and slow. The only drawback is that the motor runs very hot, especially when it is actually turning a cup. This unexpected heat makes me worry about the longevity of the motor.I spliced in a small fan to blow on the motor housing while it’s on and that helps to control the housing temperature significantly. Hopefully the motor will last. Probably not a big issue if you’re a hobbiest like my wife and only use this occasional, but could be an issue if you’re looking for durability on a commercial level.

Made my own cup turner
Made my own cup Turner with a simple YouTube video which made it so much cheaper. These were the motors they used and it worked wonderfully. Its so much cheaper to make one rather than buy one. For the price of these motors, I was able to make a two cup Turner for a fraction of the cost that they go on etsy. Well worth the buy

One of the turners keeps coming loose.
One of the turners screws keeps coming loose and my cups have fallen and gotten ruined. This is the one where the PVC pipe fits into the Turner. I have to tighten the screw daily in order to prevent this. Very upset that three cups have been ruined.

Great for tumbler turners
Very easy to use. I make customized cups and these worked perfectly for my turners. One turns quite a bit faster than the other but that’s okay. One thing I suggest is to get a different fitting. The small screw tends to unscrew easily.

Great customer service
11/8 update: their customer service reached out and offered me a code to replace the items! :-)Purchased 2 sets of these motors on August 7th. Finally had the time to build my cup turner in October. Turned the turner on and one motor struggled the start. The second motor died after spinning for less than 5 minutes. Now I have to buy new motors and disassemble the turner and rebuild it.**Update** Customer service has reached out and will be replacing the 2 pcs that were not working properly.

Missing Brass fittins, set screws and allen wrench
This is our second purchase of this product. The first time we received everything shown in the picture on the right The picture on the left or the first one is what we received, we were missing the brass fittings, set screws and allen wrench. I would be completely satisfied if seller will send the missing items.

Neither worked
I hooked the first one up and it would not even turn on. Did nothing. Like motor was locked up. I hooked up the 2nd one and it came on but did not turn. It was just jerking back in forth. Then after about 10 seconds it stopped all together and now will not move at all. So out of the 2 motors I purchased 0 worked.
