Focal IS690TOY Integration Series 2-Way 6" x 9" Component Speaker Kit for Toyota

Tweeters fit perfectly and carry a very crisp and clean sound profile. The 6x9 components sound is very tight and punchy and carries a very good range into the lower frequencies. I had it run on a 30 watt at 2 ohm headunit and there was still a sound improvement. When I attached them to my external amplifier I was blown away. Def sound proof your door up if you can.

These speakers are light years ahead of the factory ones in construction and sound quality. With only the factory, nonJBL stereo (no time alignment, no eq., etc.) the sound is amazing. The sound seems like it is coming from the windshield like a stage, rather than down low where you hear the factory speakers. LITERALLY plug and play, perfect fit. (installed in 2018 Tacoma SR5, V6 engine, Non JBL stereo) The pic shows the Focal (top) and Factory (bottom)

I replaced the front speakers on my 4Runner with these. The tweeters were NOT plug and play. I had to rig it and in the process ruined one of the tweeters. Not sure if a 2017 is slightly different than other models or not but it certainly is not plug and play. The speakers had a big magnet and looked good, but the sound was barely better, certainly not worth the cost. Now that being said, I am sure with the addition of an amp they probably would be way better than stock but I can't tell you for sure as i didn't add an amp. If you do decide to get these, don't do it unless you add an amp. That's my advice.

In short, if you don’t have a factory amplifier or plan to add an aftermarket one, DO NOT BUY THESE. They’re great, but a total waste of money if you don’t have an amp— honestly, your crummy factory speakers will have more bass output than these... I can say that after DAYS of testing. Best bang for the buck, go get a set of the Subaru/Kicker upgrade tweeters for your Tacoma/4Runner, get some sound insulation for the insides of your doors, and ENJOY! I saved you $200! You’re welcome.

The Toyota specific kit is amazing, it makes installation so much easier! In my Prius, the tweeters were a bit clearer but the woofer gave a very noticeable difference in midrange and bass. On the OEM equalizer I currently have it set at +1 click on the high, +3 clicks on the midrange and +2 clicks on the bass. I believe the OEM system makes the highs too bright and adding to the mid and bass evens out the soundstage.

If I could do it over I would have ordered a different manufacturer’s speakers. After install there was a noticeable improvement in audio clarity over the stock non-jbl speakers in the Toyota Tacoma I had them installed in. Also bonus points because they were indeed drop-in replacements. unfortunately, after just over 2 years of mild use with the factory amplifier one of the woofers has failed out of warranty. Given the price and the lifespan I feel there are better options

Muy buenos graves y la compatibilidad con el Toyota Prius es total. Debes de tener maquina rematadora para instalarlos ojo. es muy barata.

Die originalen Tieftöner vorne vom Mark Levinson Soundsystem haben das Zeitliche gesegnet und es musste Ersatz her. Durch den Einbaurahmen kann man nicht jeden x beliebigen Lautsprecher nehmen ohne Fummelarbeit zu haben. Auf der Suche nach Lautsprechern bin ich auf diese von Focal gestoßen. Der Austausch war in einer knappen halben Stunde erledigt inkl. Abbau der Türpappen. Der Klang entspricht auch denen der originalen Lautsprecher und nun kann ich wieder ordentlich laut und bassig Musik hören. Die Hochtöner habe ich nicht getauscht, da es dort wohl nicht ganz so einfach gehen soll. Ich bin sehr begeistert und kann dieses Produkt nur empfehlen.

Spekers in the dash fits ok also connectors. However predrilled holes in the door speakers are completly off. You have to drill new holes and cut part of plastic around speaker to fit under door pannel. Terrible instalation...
