Just the thing for physical therapy
I've recently had back surgery that has resulted in a fairly long recovery time. I'm a 66-year old runner, and anxious to get back on the road, but I've been advised that I need to be very careful of any impact during my rehab, including too much walking. Many years ago I trained with a flotation belt, and thought it might be an acceptable workout to get my strength back without the impact my doctors were concerned about. I purchased the Speedo Aqua Fitness Jog Belt from Amazon (2-day free shipping with Prime!) and have been using it to build back my strength and stamina, and I'm delighted with my choice. As I said, I've used flotation belts before, and found that they have a tendency to slip up, no matter now tightly they're cinched. The Speedo one-piece belt can be cinched tight and it stays in place, allowing me to use it for 20 minutes of workout without having to adjust it. In other words, it stays put! I'm a bit surprised about those other reviews who stated they had trouble figuring out how to adjust the belt. Really? It comes out of the box with the strap threaded through the belt. The only "adjustment" is to tighten the strap, which works exactly like a seat belt on a plane. It should be tightened so that there is no way for the belt to move. If it's adjusted loosely, of course the belt would ride up and be uncomfortable. Pull the belt tight and you're all set! As I discovered years ago when I used a flotation belt for marathon training, this is no sissy's workout. You can work up a sweat, even if you're in the water. It's a great, low-impact way to get your workout, or to supplement your daily run. Having used other flotation products before, I can tell you this belt beats the ones made from 3 or 4 pods. Those slip and are difficult to get to fit properly. They're just plain uncomfortable! The Speedo Aqua Fitness Jog Belt is a really good design, something I'd expect from Speedo. I'm grateful I have something of this quality to complete my rehab period before I hit the road again, and I feel pretty confident that I'm going to add it as a permanent part of my workout.

Material is of good quality
Really helps keep me afloat so I can get a good leg workout in the deep part of the pool.

It would have been better had the manufacturer made the belt lower
It works really well, but as others have posted, it does ride up. It would have been better had the manufacturer made the belt lower, as water gets under the bottom and pushes it up. It doesn't bother me, but some may not like it. The pic on the box shows the water about waist level. On me, it keeps me in water up to my shoulders. It's NOT a life vest. If I raise both of my arms straight up in the air, I sink. It works very well for my water walking in the deep end of the pool. I LOVE it, but mentioning the other issues for others who they might bother. It's VERY adjustable, it has a really long belt on it, I just tuck the extra in behind. It's VERY easy to put on, just put it on, clasp it, and pull the strap. The belt loosens when it gets wet, so I pull mine quite tight and sometimes even tighter after getting wet. I only give it 4 starts bc it rides up.

It does the job.
It’s not the most comfortable. It’s pretty stiff and jabs into your ribcage. But, it works !

ITS !!!!!
Again it's made by SPEEDO so the quality is superb I still use for daily aerobics It's been through a pair of teething kittens, many many different pools, don't know how long I've had it yes if 6ou need to float in any depth of water you can doubt on thus an the belt has plenty of adjustment

Good all around jogbelt
I use this for working out and swimming in my pool. I can’t swim so I do need this or a pool noodle which I have been using. The jogbelt does rise up to under my arm or close to it which sometimes it can be annoying, most of the time I don’t even notice. It does hold me in an upright position where I can jog also it will hold me afloat as I’m in the swimming position. I love floating on my back when I have on. Been using this for about a month or more, so far shows no sign of wear. I think any jogbelt will ride up close to the underarm, because there is nothing to prevent it from not doing so.

A swim exercise belt that works for a 200lbs dude
While bulkier than other swimming belts, it was the first one I came across that worked for my build, as a 5’10” man of 200lbs. Two other belts I tried still had me sinking, which defeats the whole purpose.
