This is a really good value brake, comes complete with pads, be mindful if your in the UK as this is a left lever with a hose long enough for the front only.

It's well priced considering it's shimano but there are much cheaper brands almost as good. It's important to consider that this set is a left hand front brake out of the box so if you live in the UK you have to consider this. In my case this wasn't a problem as I prefer this way so was hable to use it out of the box. My set is running on 180mm disks and could not be happyer with the braking power. I had to purchase and adapter (160mm to 180mm) so consider the size of your disk brake when purchasing. This kit also come with a set of ferrules and a block if you feel the need to shorten the hose but will need to purchase a bleeding kit to do the job properly.

this type of brake is IS mount, not post mount. watch out for that. if your bicycle is post mount, youll need to get an IS-Post adapter which costs 6-9 pounds. also this is left brake

Kit complet, avec pièces pour ajuster la longueur de la durite. Frein Shimano, facile à purger proprement et efficacement. Un upgrade par rapport à un frein Tektro fatigué et mal conçu. Résultat : un freinage puissant et précis.

Ich hab mir vor Jahren mal ein Fahrrad aus dem Billigsement gekauft, welches nur eine mechanische Bremse hatte. Die Bremskraft wurde mit der Zeit immer schwächer bzw. musste immer fester am Hebel ziehen und war, um ehrlich zu sein, schon von Anfang an nie zu 100% zufriedenstellen. Da ich aber viel abseits der Straße und keine Downhills etc. fahre, war es lange Zeit ausreichend. Da ich mich absolut nicht im Fahrradsegment auskenne, dachte ich anfangs, dass ich nur die Beläge und die Bremsscheibe tauschen will und so wieder ein paar Jahre rumfahre. Bin dann zufällig über die hydraulischen Bremssysteme von Shimano gestolpert, die den mechanischen Bremsen mit Seilzug überlegen sein sollen. Nach kurzer Recherche festgestellt, dass die Bremssattel ohne Adapter oder ähnlichem auf der Halterung für mein Fahrrad montierbar sind (160mm Bremsscheibe). Preislich kann man echt nichts sagen. Scheibe hab ich ebenfalls noch erneuert. Die Bremse ist nach dem einbremsen nicht wieder zu erkennen. Beisst richtig zu und hält ohne massiv am Hebel ziehen zu müssen. Werde die hintere Bremse jetzt auch noch auf eine hydraulische umbauen :)

This Shimano MT-200 was packaged extremely well. Fit and finish was excellent, lever feel was excellent, and control and power were also excellent! Definitely a great upgrade over standard mechanical disk brakes, especially for the cost. Came Pre-bled, and hose length was good. Included bolts to mount directly to post type mounts.

Ho acquistato questo freno anteriore MB 200 con tubo da 1000 mm e sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto. Il prodotto arriva esattamente come descritto: già spurgato, carico d'olio e con le pastiglie incluse e montate. In pratica, è pronto all'utilizzo appena tolto dalla scatola.La lunghezza del tubo di 1 metro è perfetta per la maggior parte delle configurazioni anteriori, garantendo un passaggio cavi fluido e senza tensioni. Un enorme punto a favore è la presenza nella confezione degli accessori per il montaggio e l'accorciamento: la guarnizione a ogiva e l'inserto (pin) sono inclusi, un dettaglio fondamentale per chi ha bisogno di adattare la lunghezza del tubo al millimetro o per futuri accorgimenti di manutenzione.La frenata è modulabile, potente il giusto ed efficiente fin dalle prime pinzate. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è imbattibile, soprattutto considerando che non serve acquistare nient'altro a parte per l'installazione. Consigliatissimo!
