Stellar Labs 6" Extension Cord with Flat 360 Degree Rotating Plug, 14AWG White

I'm not sure why all extension cords aren't made with a rotating low-profile plug. Until then, these short cords are a great solution when you're trying to keep everything tidy. The flat plug allows it to go discreetly behind a piece of furniture without the concern of crushing it, and crimping the wires as you would with an old style plug. The ability to rotate the plug itself, makes it easy to run a wire in whichever direction you need to without obstructing the second outlet in the process. I have used a few of these around the house, and they function exactly as intended.

The only other short extension cord I could find that would allow me to plug a dehumidifier into the same outlet as the basement refrigerator was a 16 gauge 1 foot cord. I was so pleased to receive this 14 gauge 1/2 foot cord and to see it fit seamlessly into the socket. It comes with the appropriate UL tag and seems to be high quality. The rotating head is genius. I can see myself buying these for other purposes. While I would have preferred 12 gauge, this was the best option I could find after searching on many sites. Both the lower gauge and the shorter length are key to not damaging the sensitive decompressor in a dehumidifier during energy fluctuations, and they make the fire hazard of long term extension cord use pretty nonexistent. This is definitely the next best choice when you do not have an extra outlet, and the footprint of the flatheaded plugs you need to insert overlap one another as not to allow the direct plugging of both appliances.

Welcome me to the fan club! They make cords so short on appliances these days, and my coffeemaker cord was about 4" short to reach the outlet when I bought and plugged in my new toaster oven next to it. So I got this cord, and it did the trick very nicely. Now I'm back to get two more, because I love the flat and rotating features of it, one for the microwave and another for the toaster oven. The microwave plug has been taking up 2" of my almost nonexistent counter space (apartment), and this will give it back to me. The toaster oven's cord from the plug is too close to it for safety, so the other one will take care of that. Also I have light gray walls, and the white color of these plugs will definitely look better. What a deal, here! Beauty and function. You can't beat that! My Breville toaster oven comes with a very large plug. The recepticle is directly behind the oven. This setup caused the toaster to sit 4" away from the wall which I wasn't too happy about. This 6" extension is a perfect solution. The flat swivel plug only sticks out from the wall about 1/2" and now the long Breville plug lays down parallel to the wall. I can finally push the toaster back towards the wall. The 14 ga grounded wire is more than adequate for any major appliance. It appears to be very well made and can handle more than 1800+ watts. After using the toaster oven for over 30 minutes @ 400 degrees, the extension didn't even get warm. So far I'm happy and would recommend this product.

If you're looking for a product like this, it's for a specific application, and I'd highly recommend this one. It works perfectly, and seems very durable. The rotating plug allows for fitment in most, if not all, possible scenarios. The only issue I had is that I thought it was somewhat expensive for what it is, but I needed this and found nothing else to fit what I needed it for. 1 star is missing for reasons of price only - the product itself is excellent quality and solved my issue.

These are great for adding to plugs behind furniture that you want to have as flush as possible to the wall and to have cords that are not very visible. Most of our walls are white with black baseboards, so this allows us to drop a plug down to the baseboard, where we use a black extension cord to run the rest of the way to a device. The ability to rotate the the plug around 360 degrees is very convenient as well, as you can direct it in the exact direction you need while still keeping your furniture flush. We have about half a dozen of these now in use around our home.

This was the perfect solution for several of my electrical problems. I have some gadgets that have very large plugs that just didn't fit in the places I wanted them. One problem besides the size was the outlets in our apartment are randomly installed in different directions. Some are up and down and some are side to side. Of course, most of my things don't fit the configuration of where I want them. Then I purchased this extension. It is perfect! No matter where I put it the flat plug fits nicely and out of the way. The fact that it turns makes it incredibly handy for those applications that are installed in the wrong direction for my appliance. I will definitely order more of these!!

These are great for outlets that where the plug and cord would take up too much room to fit a table or chair up next to it. This way you can the plug and cord go into the side of this outlet and don't stick out so far. I have three of them for just such spaces.
