Solid Choice
Hard to beat the performance at this price point. The fins are a bit longer than I’m used to, so my frog kick needs a little modification as far as timing and how I push. Otherwise, solid fins. Drain well out of the water and rinse clean. The straps ratchet tightly and the quick release is snappy and easy to use. I wear a size 9, and these fit adequately, once I’m in my neoprene booties. I have both slip on and full zips in 3mm, and they pad out enough. I could have gone a size lower, since I’m really ratcheting down, but it’s not a big deal. Would definitely recommend as a solid intro, to interdmediate, set of fins that will feel comfortable, size right, and sit at a good price point.

They work
Me: ~5'9", 157#, lean athletic build, I fit a medium for most things, size 9 shoe. Bell curve applies. I ordered the M/L. With standard neoprene booties, these fit exactly as they should, and they work well. I like the clip release, I like that spare clips are offered, and the price is superb especially on sale ($64.50/August 2023). The colors look good and are easy to spot and ID among other yellow fins. I was worried not having any center flow cuts would hurt the performance, but it didn't seem to. The edges actually channel the water along the fin, which is nice and long, but not overly so. They're nice and bendy, but the black rubber does tend to scuff against things, so watch out for that. It can potentially mark pools, tubs, floors, boat decks, etc. I'm satisfied and will use them until the sea claims them.

They seem pretty nice.
Well this isn’t a complete review because we have just received the fins. I ordered a size M/L and they fit me with my Cressi size 12 Minorca 3mm booties perfectly. These are the first pair or fins on this style, clip-on. As I understand it they are supposed to dust snug and the rear of the fin is supposed to be at the end or middle of the heel. These fall perfectly in the middle of my heel. The fins seem like very nice quality and they look and feel much nicer than snorkel boat equipment. The fins have a nice high side front and rear to direct water flow down the fin rather than around it. The internet says that’s important. Well these have it. The buckel system seems robust. I have what I think of as normal medium width feet. Meaning I don’t look for shoes to be especially narrow or wide. The foot pocket seems to fit snuggly with my booties on and the rear strap is compfortable when pulled in firmly. The fins came with some thing that I believe is meant to be utilized either for narrower feet or for smaller sized feet. See the pictures. It’s marked with S/M so I assume that if you wanted longer fins but you have a smaller foot than is recommended for this size fin you could use these inserts. I tried the fins on with and without the inserts and think that of maybe I wanted a stiffer foot pocket that they would come in handy. Although that did leave me feeling the outside buckle push against the side of my foot. Not sure if that would be a lasting side effect or would it “break-in” after some use. In the pictures I show the fit of the bootie “minus my foot” in the fins. The pictures showing the interior zipper are pictures without the insert. The picture showing the outside of the bootie is with the insert. Maybe you can tell that the boot is slightly farther out of the pocket. It still fit though. I don’t know. I thought maybe it was included to just be a shape keeper for the fins. But my wife’s XS fins did not include them. Also it seems like a lot of expense for a form keeper to have the Cressi branding printed on it if that was the case. If it matters the fins are stamped made in Italy. The booties are made in China. Overall I’m happy considering I’ve not used them. I’ll update after the next few months. Four stars for fit and price. Maybe it will be five stars once I use them.

Italian craftsmanship at its best.
I've had cressi palua's for a long time and wanted something a little better. These are excellent. The foot pocket comes all the way to the heel on the bottom of your foot giving a totally different kick than a scuba pro jet fin. They are also just a bit lighter in the blade and the weight is concentrated in the foot pocket. The blade is about 4 inches longer than the jet fins and the same width. So i still get plenty of thrust. There is more flexibility to the blade also , more snap. It's easier to kick with less knee strain for long 2 hour lap swims. They do run large , i wear a 10.5 shoe and M/LG with a aqua lung ergo 5mm booty fits well, tightened down. The foot pocket is very soft as with all the cressi fins I've used. The cost is low for such a well made fin. I also love that they have quick release fasteners so they are easy to take off. All around great fin especially at this price.Italians build beautiful things these are no exception.

Great fins -Confusing / Imprecise fit
Pro-lite M/L w/Cressi Ibiza 3mm short boots. Rec diving 40 yrs, PADI thru Rescue Diver. I wear 11 wide shoes, more or less between their sizing. After digging through reviews for sizing. originally ordered XL, and while comfortable, they would shift to sides with 3mm boot. If 5 or 7mm boots would go a size up. Returning those, ordered M/L. Snug fit, but know once in the water things will adjust comfortably. A bit tight for 5mm Oneill boots. Bump on back of Ibiza boots for Bungee or Steel spring straps make straps fit high or low. Recommend replacing straps for use with those boots. All in all, great price for absolutely functional fins. Absolutely worth upgrading straps.

Great, Light Weight Fins!
Got my fins & headed to the Grand Cayman for a month. Snorkeled all around the island & these fins performed exceptionally well. The light weight helped with maneuverability and coping with some heavy winds, wave action & strong currents that we were dealing with off the barrier reef on the north side of the island. No complaints, I’m perfectly happy with my purchase!

Yellow Submaeine Vanity
Can't tell you nothing on open water performance, ( got them before christmas). But looking at them i see a well-crafted, good quality, sleek looking fins. Their is one more power that they have? I put them on a display stand next to my christmas tree ( gift to me from me). Honest to god, every lady that pass them had to occasionally caress the black protruding letters then look at me, smile and a slight giggle-giggle. 100% chick magnets, worth their weight and i didnot use them (Smiling).

Strap quickly breaks. Not reliable.
The strap broke after less than 2 hours of first-time use! We bought three of these Cressi fins to upgrade from cheap $25 amazon fins that lasted us a couple of years and still are working fine. There must have been a flaw in the rubber because the strap seemed so sturdy and well made but apparently not. Wish I'd have saved the $300 and stuck with cheapo ones because I was stuck with no fins for the rest of my trip.
