I love these measuring spoons! I have a few that are actually older than me. I decided to order a backup set. These are made very well, sturdy, easy to read and I love that they magnetically stick together :)

I normally love everything OXO but I prefer the ones that are all attached. It just keeps them all together nicely. Works well tho. And nice quality stainless steel.

There’s a problem when holding these spoons with the weight distribution, because the spoon end is heavy metal, and the black handle is about the same weight on all. On the 1/4th tsp and 1/2th tsp, the center of weight is at the top of the black handle. On the 1 tsp, it is slightly above the black handle (need to hold in center). On the 1 tablespoon, the center seems where the finger indention is. The back center of the spoon does not have the black handle continued up, so it is uncomfortable to hold there with the two edges from the back. There is the finger indention near the spoon end and the smooth black handle at the other end, but as soon as the center of weight is near the center (like with the 1 tsp, and slightly so with the 1/2th and 1/4th), there is no finger support there. The Magnets could be stronger, but this isn’t a big deal. If leaving in a drawer sideways, there is no problem as they can join normally. But, if held up in the air, the 1/4 or 1/2 can be supported only and if alone. So when picked up together as a unit, it is clumsy, but really this does not matter as in use, only one spoon might be needed and the magnets keeps the others still together when not in use. These are durable. The metal is a good thickness, since there is no bending anywhere of the metal on the spoon, even at the spoon end. The main problem is the uncomfortable holding experience.

Excellent set and worth the price

Great set! I’ve had my set since 2017 and my mom asked for a set because they are easy to read.

Oxo in general makes well designed and constructed merchandise. The nested, magnetic measuring spoons are a great example. The magnetic feature keeps all spoons together in the kitchen tool drawer but allows easy separation when needed. I use the set for making solutions for my fish tanks. Having the mL equivalent on each spoon would make conversions to mL/gal easier.
