Slow-close toilet seats are a great idea - no accidental slamming of the toilet seat or lid. Easy to install on my Proflo toilet. You can see from the photo that it is a good match for size. The smooth plastic is lightweight and easy to clean. The bottom of the toilet seat has these replaceable little, kind-of-sticky bumpers that press onto the toilet, so the seat is very stable. The seat and lid close very slowly - it takes about 10 seconds to close. I'm very happy with it.

Works great. Solid brand and its quiet. Fits perfectly as it should. Id recommend getting this if you want to have a basic replacement seat.

I like these toilet seats a lot because the installation of both was simple and pretty straight forward. I had the wooden slow-close type of seats previously and I really loved them except that since they were painted they were a pain to keep the underside clean and you couldn't use any cleaning product with bleach on them. These seats feel a little flimsy to me. Perhaps I just need to get used to them? They do close slowly, and to me, a little too slowly. Perhaps because they are more lightweight? Initially one of the Kohler toilet seats made a high-pitched squeaking sound the entire time it was closing. Very strange because only the one in the guest bathroom does it, the one in the master bath makes no noises whatsoever. If I shift it makes a squeaking noise; which is kind of embarrassing to me, but my cats don't seem to mind it. *LOL* Update: Perhaps it needed a brief break-in period because the squeal as it closes has ceased. I'm really happy about that!

I have been using this toilet seat for a few months now and appreciate it more each day. It was very easy to install and holds firmly in place once the bolts are tightened. I never realized what a difference a slow close lid would make. There is no noise at all as the lid slowly closes. Everything is included to attach to an existing toilet. The seat is well made, easy to clean and a lighter weight than the seat that was replaced (a nice bonus). The color and shape were a perfect fit. This is a great value from a reliable brand like Kohler.

Terrible product. The fit was good. Mounting was easy and the lid closed slowly as advertised. Little to no stability either. As you can see in the picture this seat will not last long at all and I am extremely reluctant to receive a new seat. If this one broke within a couple days then I'm sure the next one will but I guess I will see and we'll update the review if it changes.

Slow close works great! Installation is simple, similar to other toilet seats. It has a really good fit to the toilet, looks a lot neater than other seats.

Seat fit great. After 2 months, it's already coming loose. The slow close feature is nice to the extent it doesn't slam but it closes a bit too slow. I'm having to order replacement screws because the nuts are coming loose and aren't secure.
