Wahl Premium Patentend Dual Level Sensitive Skin Pet Slicker Brush

Finally! This is the BEST BRUSH of all! My 7 pound baby thinks it's spa day and LOVES being brushed. She'll stay there all day and keep asking for more which is a world apart from the struggles we had before. We've been through a lot of brushes and I'm happy to have found this one at last. It's perfect for a Havanese's double coat, is gentle, doesn't pull, and when I follow up with a comb afterward, nearly all the tangles have magically melted away. The brush is too big, really, for a 7 pound dog, but since they don't make a smaller one, I make do since this brush works so well on her coat and she really enjoys being brushed now.

I got this to replace an older model of the Wahl slicker brush. My dog used to love it but has recently acted like it's pulling his hair a bit (the old brush, not the new one). To be fair, it was old and I'm sure the wire parts were getting wonky. When I searched, the new version of the brush came up. I wasn't sure if it would work well on his double coat with the little tips on some of the wires but it works even better than the original one! He was excited to see his new brush. When we tried it out, he wasn't pulling away like with his old brush. It definitely felt better on his coat and skin. It definitely helps remove hair and I found it as easy to clean out as his old brush. I love the bigger handle (compared to other brushes we have). Very easy to use, great value. I would recommend.

My dog tolerates this vs other slicker brushes likely bc of the coated pins. Very good basic brush to own.

Great product, dog hair brushes are always difficult to clean so I’m not knocking any points off for that. But wow this thing works amazingly, I am blown away but how much loose fur this grabs!! For the price just buy it, it’s worth it. For a short hair dog with an undercoat this is the best!

so smooth and tender when brushing my puppy's fur. He finally lets me do it! With other brushes he would run.

I will FOREVER RECOMMEND this brush! Finally my 2 mini poodles do not HATE getting brushed! They used to run and would even yelp but now brushing their curly thick hair is a breeze! This brush is so gentle yet effective! The duel level of the bristles also helps ensure to get all the way to the skin avoiding matting! Other brushes used to have so much hair in them after brushing but this brush has minimal hair making me feel there is less damage/breakage due to the gentle design of the brush! My dogs are much happier with this brush! I wish it came in different sizes and shapes!

This brush glides through my shih-tzus fur so smoothly! She is a mixed breed so she has a curly fur. Doesn’t pull out her fur.

Pro groomer. Initially bought this for my bather when looking for a little softer slicker for her to use as I like a firmer brush (I’m pretty light handed and firmer bristles suit my brushing pressure and technique). Ended up getting one for myself as well, though it’s definitely not my go-to brush. It’s quite soft and will not scratch up the dog. It fluffs REALLY well (which is why I got myself one) and is great for poodles, bichons, and doodles with a more poodly coat who are kept short. Not great for detangling tho as the bristles are short and just a bit too soft to work the tangles out very effectively which is why I’d recommend it be used on dogs that are kept short

Bought this for brushing my mini schnauzer. He likes it much more that the previous ones we tried. I use it daily on him. It is very gentle. So gentle my 17 year old little poodle well let me brush him with it and the Poodz hates being brushed. It is not as easy to clean, I cannot just pull the hair out, I just use a comb instead.

This brush arrived today and is unfit for purpose. The outside pins have no safety tops and they are just sharp scratchy metal that would damage the skin. Some pins are missing or bent. This is not a premium brush it is really poor quality made in China . I thought Wahl were a good make and I was getting a bargain. I've read other reviews and can't believe they are reviewing the same brush. Just a waste of time travelling to the post office to return it.
