Natural Instincts Semi-Permanent No Ammonia Hair Dye, 6 Light Brown

Really lovely natural colour. I haven't coloured my hair in a few months and I had highlights before which faded, you can see they are slightly lighter where the highlights were. Bare in mind, this is not an permanent dye so doesn't cover greys fully and I can see some underneath but they are disguised enough. I am happy overall with the end effect!

If you're got sensitive scalp highly recommend because is free from amonia and gently with your scalp, nice colour .Also good quality product made in Germany .

After having my hair cut short and dyed blonde last year, it is now growing out and was starting to look messy, especially with the lingering blonde bits on the ends. My hair is a light brown naturally with salt and pepper greys. I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the reviews, for example not covering greys and being too dark. The coverage was really even. It has ended up a lovely dark brown although it was meant to be light brown. It’s covered up all my greys and blonde remnants and looks in great condition. Can’t comment on longevity as I’ve only just done it, but I would buy it again. These two photos were only taken one day apart. For some reason my hair looks longer! The only reason I gave it four stars is because the colour is much darker than advertised. But that’s not to say I don’t like it.

I bought this as a semi permanent (not permanent) as I'm trying to grow the permanent hair dye that I have in my hair out. I just needed a semi permanent one that washes out just to try even the colour as it grows. However this has stayed in and hasn't washed out like it says and my ends are even dryer now. I can understand it sticking around on the porous ends of my hair but not in the new hair growth which it has. Don't get me wrong it's a beautiful colour and smells lovely that's why I've given 2 stars but it's not what it says on the box. So please be aware of that. I now feel like I'm back at square one with my hair.

I wanted something semi permanent and not too harsh on my hair to touch up between salon appointments. This was recommended online but it just slightly fades over the greys rather than covers them. Won’t be buying again.

Don’t believe the other reviews I gave this a try because it was gentler than the permanent hair dyes and I was very pleasantly surprised, but it does actually cover the greys! It was actually one of the famous AI apps that suggested this to me because previously I have stacked hair dyes that have led to my brown becoming black but it suggested this because it’s gentler and semi permanent and will not progressively turn the hair darker and darker. Not only was I pleased that it covered the greys but it’s left it super shiny and soft. I’ve come straight on to do a subscribe and save every eight weeks and I’m thrilled that I have found one so suitable for my needs.
