Review: great quality tool - this screw gun is great. the battery lasts a long time, SUPER lightweight, but it doesn’t have AMAZING torque. if a screw is really stuck on there, you’ll need to use an impact or speed handle since it doesn’t have a lot of power even on the “drill” mode. overall, this screw gun is lightweight with a decent punch. i’d bring an impact or speed handle as back up. the size is perfect and overall i think is worth having in your box. the lightweight construction and long battery life make it worth it in my opinion.

**Q: what drill bits fit the CXT?**
A: Any standard drill bit kit like the ones that come with p1 p2 p3 etc. Etc. will work I belive its a 1/4 dr screwdriver gun, it's not an impact at all I use 2" bits also

**Q: Is the 18v battery compatible?**
A: No, but I did talk to a Makita 
Rep and Makita. Will always support the cxt system and they're still making cxt tools

**Q: The owners manual mentions a "Driver bit holder" that mounts to the tool but doesn't give a part #? Any chance somebody can get that info? Thx**
A: I don’t have that information. Maybe try contacting makita

**Q: Is a chuck accessory for this drill available?**
A: Makita 763198-1 keyless chuck.  I had a similar Milwaukee chuck version and it made the driver front-heavy and unbalanced.  I settled for drill bits with 1/4" hex shanks which wobbled.  This tool is a really good screwdriver and not much of a drill.

It is over a year since I bought this drill. I use all 18v makita but decided to get this for smaller projects. I can say anything short of installing a deck and this drill is up for it. The compact design is awesome. The battery last all day and the price is pretty good considered what you get. Nothing short of what you would expect from makita just in a smaller package.
