Lots of uses. *by T***K on July 24, 2019* It's a simple, easy to clean kitchen tool. Still experimenting with the many things we can do with it, but we're pleasntly surprised that we're using it as much as we are. We got the large, 5.8 Quart model, which we highly recommend, but It has a big footprint. --The kind we can't just keep on the counter all the time. So where to store it when not in use is a bit of an issue. It's not digital, so the timer is an old fashioned analog egg-timer type of dial. Perhaps that's a good thing because the charm is in it's simplicity. There's a dial for the temperature and a dial for the timer. Pretty intuitive. If I give it 4 stars, it's because I can't give it 4.5. My only criticism, besides the massive but necessary size, is that the little rubber guards on the bottom of the inner cage always fall off when I'm washing it.
