Definitely recommend
Great product. Has made cutting in much easier. Only downside would be cutting the tape, but that wouldn't be enough to put me off purchasing this product. I recommend

Straight lines!!!
I had to paint our hallway woodwork an that had 5 door ways off it and I knew my ability to run masking tape around each door frame and skirting board would be a challenge. I saw this and did some research - watching a few YouTube reviews and it was a mixed result. I decided to take the plunge and ordered it along with ScotchBlue Multi-Surface Premium Masking Tape, 36 mm x 41 m, 4 Rolls/Case - the roll that's supplied barely did one door frame but these fitted the applicator and worked very well! Would I recommend this to family and or friends - YES Is it difficult to use - NO Keep the edge on your door frame/floor etc and make sure there are no lumps of paint that will push it out and you'll mask the door frame in a few minutes - it is so simple to use and the results are fantastic. I left the masking tape on for 3 days - 2 undercoats and 2 top coats - no bleed through or creeping under the edges and very straight lines.

Works but unnecessary
The tape applicator does work however for me ended up being a bit of a faff to make work correctly. Between trying to get it to cut at the right point and having to refill it, I found that after a few uses I preferred to use the tried and tested method of just doing it by hand and ripping it. This worked out to be faster and easier for me but maybe my technique is just poor! Overall I would say save yourself a few quid and just do it by hand. It does work, it just didn't rock my world.

Glorified Tape Dispenser
This product has over 2600 reviews, mostly five stars, which will no doubtedly lead people to buy it, however, it must be important to note that this is either an error, as in, the previous item listed on this page has been swapped out as often seen, or it’s from international reviews which again, may serve no purpose to this product. Therefore the reality of this product is that it is useless, and not fit for its intended purposes. It’s a big bulky piece of plastic with two fabric pads, and two wheels. The item does not glide along the roof or floor as intended, it just clunks and bangs awkwardly. The tape doesn’t cut from the dispenser in any easy fashion, so you have to rip it off by hand or pull the unit from the wall/floor, separating the tape in any event…. If you manage to get it to roll along the wall or floor for any moment in time, it isn’t level, as the tape doesn’t form part of the actual unit, it just sits independently shaking around in its basket and your guided by the feet… therefore it’s no different than doing it by hand? As such, all it really is, is a tape dispenser for frog tape… I had hoped this would save some time during some decorating work, but unless your pairing the Sistine Chapel, I’ve realised life is too short, and some slight lines out of place on my roof by hand isn’t the end of the world. There is a competitor of this out there, however that’s again over £60, and approx £80 with delivery, albeit it does look like that would work, again, I doubt anyone but you would notice your slight imperfections if you used frog tape by hand.

Hard to cut
Didn't like this. I found it took up to much time to use it and keep it straight while moving it. I'll go back to old school. It was hard to cut and just made a mess trying to cut it.

Super produit facile à utiliser
Super facile à utiliser… Peut-être un peu fragile dans le temps. Ce qui me concerne j’ai plusieurs centaines de mètres de papier à poser.

It's not perfectly flush against the wall but so close
I was really hoping that this was gonna be a miracle unit to allow me to get super tight tape lines against the surface but it didn't quite meet it but it does come very very close compared to other products that I've used I do find the unit to be a little overpriced given that it's a couple pieces of plastic but it did save me time and worked as a good tape holster the other key to this product is to make sure that you use good tape not that cheap dollar a roll garbage my suggestion is due by the unit but you're gonna have to practice with it a little first to understand how to get it really tight to the wall which eventually I was able to do
