Goodkind is a legend
Like. Are you kidding me. Goodkind's series with Richard and Kahlan has kept me (at 80) and two of my children entertained for years. These novelettes were a surprise - got them for Christmas and am now awaiting May's book. The wonderful thing about his fantasy novels is they also include real time human problems that we all recognize today, but in a setting where we can dream, fantasize and worry as he pens adventure after adventure. These are books that are best read from the beginning of the series - so the characters make sense.

Goose Bumps
Oh my, I get goose bumps reading this installment of the Children of D’Hara. From start to finish the only thing I didn’t do was bite my nails. The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat feeling the pain been inflicted on Richard and the Mother Confessor. I can’t spoil this by giving away twist and turns and unwelcome surprises. Damn you Terry for giving me daytime nightmares with a cliff hanger........ the twins ...... my jaw is still open. Hurry with the next installment so I can avoid an heart attack. This is a fantasy drama that reflects real time visualization, all I can say is get this installment and read it, it’s worth your time

Again twists you never expect.
I found this book to be pretty good. Never underestimate a witches oath even if given literally years before. Someone using Richards own gift without his knowledge and what they did with it was a bit of a shock. Especially how they used it. Getting to the Midlands is becoming more desperate by the day. I can see that these novellas are going to go on for quite some time now which is just fine with me, the characters and location are amazing. I will never get tired of stories that take place in this world.

A Series with engaging in.
OMG. Such a good series. I am so glad the Author completed the series before his passing. The literary world lost a great Artisan when Terry Goodkind passed away.

AN OATH CAN BIND MORE THAN YOUR WORD!!!
Captured...powerless...at a powerful enemy's mercy...or lack thereof. That's where this story begins!!!The Golden Goddess and the Glee still seek Richard and Kahlan with the intent to end their lives... destroy magic...and rule the world. Their only hope is to find their way to a safe place where they - and their children to be - can be protected. Yet, every breath they take, every move they make someone is watching them. And now, they must find their way free from this new enemy who not only has power's of their own, but has the ability to bend the Mord-Sith to their will. An enemy who is not only powerful but is sworn by a Witch's Oath to destroy the royal family...an Oath that is more than it seems. This is the 4th book in the CHILDREN OF D'HARA series and Terry Goodkind, with all the twists and turns he is famous for building into his stories, has yet to unveil all of them. In this new chapter in the series he uncovers threads thought buried in the Underworld and new threats that were not forseen. Goodkind sits at his loom, weaving new dangers and new threats that he continues to form into the huge tapestry that is the world of the Sword of Truth. This book should be read in order from the previous three chapters in order to fully grasp and understand all the intricacies and pieces that make up this chapter.

Another great entry!
I have followed the Sword of Truth characters for many years now. By far some of the best around. I wait eagerly for each new book and devour them. I love how Goodkind kind of took the reader back to the beginning of things in this one and I can't wait to see what's next. Keep up the good work sir!

The way Authors cut off the END of the storylines..
Are like waiting until after the Commercial to see the results of the a favorite Game Show.. LOL... BUT I DO enjoy the way I can just pick up each New Book IN every series that TERRY GOODKIND writes and immediately I'm taken back to what I was reading about in the Previous book. It's just like waiting until after the Commercial to end. So YOU can pick up where YOU left off. .Ya know what I mean. I Personally think his books are GOOD for most any age that understands the mystical powers and the difference between life and death Majic and Non Magic. AND also the significance of the TRUTH in ALL things living. So no little kids (12 years & under)should be reading without Adult supervision. But that's just MY Opinions OKAY. Can't wait to see what happens with the Twins. I hope they survive long enough to have a series of their own. Please 🐸❤🎨

Why does he do this to us?!
This story had me on the edge of my seat as the group scoured the tunnels below the People's Palace to defeat the witch man Michec. It seemed that each time Richard and the group were close, Michec would wriggle out of their grasp and disappear. But the witch man finally met his end, and Richard made sure he would never, ever come back to haunt them again. Then they are off the the Wizard's Keep, but run into problems along the way. And of course, Terry Goodkind leaves us with a cliffhanger ending that just had my heart-wrenching. Why, oh why does he keep doing this to us?! Now to wait impatiently for the next book to find out what happens.
