Long lasting and definitely worth it, albeit a little stinky!
I have a very busy, small beagle who starts chewing on things when he gets bored/stressed. The average jerky treat he will finish within two minutes. It has been a real problem finding something that will keep his attention and will also last long enough to be worth the price. After consulting my vet, who recommended staying away from anything hard that could break my dog's teeth (Himalayan yak chews, hooves, antlers, Nylabone products, etc.) or splinter when gnawed on (cooked beef bones), I decided to try these beef trachea. I have some reservations because they are manufactured in Turkey, and I don't know how stringent the safety standards are there and would have preferred a US made product. Nevertheless, I can say that, while they are a little stinky when they have been chewed on for awhile (like bully sticks), the smell is worth it because these do last quite a long time. My dog will not finish one in one sitting...rather, I will find it getting smaller over a week or so. Thus, despite the smell, I recommend these if you have a dog who is an aggressive chewer!

Dogs love em, but STINKY!!!
My dog goes nuts for these!! She immediately flies through the doggie door and disappears for an hour and then comes back empty-handed... Until two weeks later... When a foul stench overtakes the house and I look down and she is proudly gnawing on the stinky, slimy, half chewed trachea that she had buried specifically for this moment in time, as a little treat for herself. Boy is she confused when I jump out of my chair and wildly start flailing my arms and yelling at her to take that nasty thing outside, lol!!! But alas, her happiness is my happiness, and these put her over the moon. WARNING: Just make sure to CLOSE THE PACKAGE SECURELY (with the conveniently included Ziploc closure), otherwise, the odor that will permeate your house will confuse you for the first few days, trying to figure out what it is (Dead rat? Urine?) and where it's coming from (The walls of the house? Under the house?) And after you've completely scoured all possible locations for anything disgusting, you'll happen to walk by the open bag and instantly realize the error of your ways. If you buy these for your dog, then your love for that animal is unquestionable. For scent, it's 5 stars for the dog, and 0 stars for me, lol!!!

Great treat, very stinky
The first bag I received was great! They trachea's chew were all pretty thick and took my 4.5 month old Rottweiler puppy hours to finish. However, the second bag I bought was in a different bag (probably just the manufacturer changing the bags) but the beef trachea's we considerably thinner and they don't last nearly as long. I do love that they are full of glucosamin and they are great for helping to keep my pups teeth clean. Sometimes I'll let him eat half of it, and then stuff the other half with canned dog food and freeze it for a treat the next day. He really loves that! Be aware, if you have sensitive nose and stomach the smell is pretty bad, it doesn't really bother me much but some people may be less tolerant. I will continue to buy them as they are a good value and nice size, but slightly disappointed that they got thinner. Some dogs may try to swallow the last couple inches, I usually take it and throw it away so he doesn't choke on it.

All natural, long-lasting, good value.
All 5 of my dogs loved this treat. They last a long time and after working on them a while, they all found a place to hide them until next time. # 1 - All natural; # 2 - my dogs loved them; #3 last a long time; #4 -good value. I've already placed another order. It's one of those treats I'll always keep on hand and they are especially good for those times when you need your pet to be occupied! As others have noted, they have a peculiar odor, but it's not intense and once out of the bag the odor dissipates very quickly.

Very strong scent
These were really good quality in my opinion my dog loved them and it would keep him busy and interested. He is a major chewer and they last him 30 minutes. I don’t love how strongly the scent is when I am watching tv and he is Chewing on these 5 ft away I can’t stand the smell they smell gross lol but my dog loves that about them haha

RANCID DISGUSTING
These smelled so so bad, rancid, as soon as we opened the bag it was nauseating and filled the house. We started gagging and my husband grabbed them and ran them outside to the trash. We thought must have been something just wrong with this bag the 5-6” but the next day when the 3-4” came in because we did the promotional deal, it was the same. Only we opened that one outside, just in case, and some look like they still had small amounts of “meat” that had gone bad with white powdery stuff on it (mold?). It was the same disgusting smell, had to immediately throw in trash, not even worth the smell to send back for our money, it’s that disgusting. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Long Lasting AND Engaging
My dog has tried a lot of dog chews (bully sticks, cow hooves, yak cheese, pig ears, probably more than this i can't remember?) In terms of level of value (will my dog get super excited when i'm giving it to him), this ranks towards the top - definitely above cow hooves, yak cheese, and bully sticks, maybe tied with pig ears. It is definitely at the level of value too where he will finish it in one sitting (as opposed to bully/hooves/yak which he will work on in multiple sittings). In terms of longevity, this lasts longer than pigs ear, and maybe a little bit less than a thick bully stick. Definitely less than yak cheese or cow hoof. When he was a bit younger it probably lasted over an hour, now maybe 35-40 minutes. 35-40 minutes of him being VERY engaged on a chew is definitely the best overall for us, as far as chews go. For reference, snuffle mat/ puzzle toy, lick mat, wobbler, and kong all last less than 30 minutes for him with a similar level of engagement to the tracheas. When working on one of these he no longer wants to fight the vacuum, is no longer barking while i'm on a conference call, is no longer counter surf. For me, this 35-40 minutes is blissful. If you have never smelled a dog chew - this does have an odor. I almost find it garlic-y? Its prominent, but definitely better smelling than most bully sticks i've used. Overall, incredibly satisfied, love the ability to buy a multipack, and will continue to buy these going forward!

Worst Smell Ever! Dog Loves It.
I have to start by saying this is the worst smell I’ve ever encountered in my life. I can’t even describe how bad it is and it lingers for hours, all day even, in the air, on the fur, the breath, just everywhere! I would only give this outside next time; never again in the house. With that said, my Berner loves it. It takes him a good hour to finish one and nothing can pull him off of it. I would give it five stars for taste and longevity, but I have to take stars off for that smell.
