The gloves very well handling a totally feral cat into a carrier to get her to the vet. Her teeth and craws did not penetrate.

Heavy duty easy on and off I handle wildlife excellent addition to my rescue equipment. But would be great addition to have around no matter. Also would make a great gift for any outdoorsman or woman!

I will use these for handling wildlife, and because that isn't my full-time job, I wanted to keep costs as love as possible for a decent pair of thick leather gloves. I am a woman with fairly small hands, 5' 6" tall and 150 lbs. (to give a sense of the size of my arms--they're pretty average, I'd say), and I'm happy to report that these gloves fit me well! I was worried they'd be too big. They reach right up almost to my armpits, which is great for my uses. They are not SO big around that they'll fall off, even if grabbed by talons, etc. Mostly, I am really glad they are real leather, thick but pliable, and I feel like I have pretty good dexterity while wearing them (within reason, of course). For example, I could confidently open a crate door or hold a raptor's legs with my gloved hand, but not use my cell phone (duh). I only took off a star because of the strong odor when I opened the bag they were packaged in; it smelled like maybe some chemical used in the tanning process--? Not sure, but I aired them out in my yard for a couple of days because I didn't want the fumes to kill any poor critter I was trying to help! I would recommend these gloves, especially for smaller people who are worried about swimming in way-too-large gloves.

Wonderful bite resistant gloves for handling birds of prey. I volunteer at a raptor refuge and these gloves are perfect for handling owls, hawks, vultures and great blue herons. Very comfortable and the fingers are flexible and fit my hands. These gloves are so well-liked at the Refuge that we wore out the first pair and had to buy two more.

The inner lining is awful! It is next to impossible to get your thumb in the hole. I only used a few times before the inner lining totally pulled out. Do not waste your money!

These are such a gorgeous shade of green and truly very sturdy! Be so careful ordering the size, I typically wear the extra large rubber gloves and I was a medium in these! They alsp come further up the arm than expected, a few inches past the elbow, and are a little stiff due to their thickness, but that's unavoidable for good protection.

Amazing! My cat scratches really badly when I try to trim his long hair. His claws don't get through this material! I feel much safer now and can actually get the job done!

I think they are an excellent product. Definitely serve their purpose. Can feel the stray bite down but safe from any punctures. Now strays are de-flea'd
