Jif is the best peanut butter
Jif is smooth and tastes great. The smell is wonderful and spreads nicely on bread or crackers or on your tongue when a hefty spoonful is what I am craving.

Great taste
Great brand/taste. More peanuts/less oil. No separation and stays creamy. Cheaper thru Amazon than local stores and delivered to your door usually in 3 days. Highly recommend.

Good deal for my money
Nice taste and nice price. It took a long time for it to arrive but it was worth it for me.

This product contains glucose solids (made from wheat). Are you gluten intolerant?
EDITED TO MENTION ONE OF THE SWEETENERS LISTED IS DEXTROSE SOLIDS - MADE FROM WHEAT - Too many things now have sweeteners manufactured from wheat - they're called dextrin, maltodextrin, dextrose, and maltodextrose. Although there's 'only trace' amounts of gluten protein left over from the manufacturing process so the story goes but what's left over is sufficient to make me very ill as I am very sensitive to gluten. I mean really ill. Anyone who has celiac disease or gluten intolerance knows exactly what I mean by 'really ill'. This company has CHANGED the recipe for this peanut butter. When it used to just like sugars and cooking molasses I didn't have a problem eating this...however I had to buy a jar at the store last week because Amazon temporarily ran out, I didn't bother reading the label as I had ASSUMED the list of ingredients were identical. THEY WEREN'T. I started getting ill again after eating some in the same way I get ill when encountering gluten and gluten products. I have to read labels carefully and this time I ASSUMED JIF to be safe for me. It WASN'T. IT TOOK 6 WEEKS FOR THE DEXTROSE IN THIS PEANUT BUTTER TO STOP THE DIARRHEA, ABDOMINAL PAIN AND VOMITING, AND BECAUSE OF THE DEXTROSE AND THE PROBLEMS I HAD TO DEAL WITH, I MISSED MY GRANDSON'S GRADUATION!!!!! A company Rep I spoke with babbled about 'industry standards' regarding glucose admitting that although there is wheat protein from manufacturing gluten (and derivites), "it's only a tiny amount". For people like who are gluten intolerant / celiac, this 'tiny amount' is enough to trigger the severe abdominal cramping, diarrhea and vomiting. So, if you're celiac or have a gluten intolerance, you might want to think twice about buying this otherwise tasty peanut butter. It's a good thing I checked the listed ingredients and then went onto their website. ...it's at the point now where I have to read labels carefully to see if there's any gluten-based sweetener in it, and even at the point where I have to check the backs of products to see if it 'was made/packaged in a processing plant where wheat products are made' or 'may contain wheat'...I learned the hard was to read, read and read. I feel like I almost have to be a chemist. PS: dextrins, dextrose and maltodextrose do contain gluten as they are made from wheat and occasionally barley. Consider these sweeteners on labels to be manufactured from wheat and barley unless it's specifically labeled as corn dextrins, dextrose and maltodextrose, or rice dextrins, dextrose and maltodextrose.

Tastes Good!
Not sure what to say in a review about peanut butter? Jif is one of 3 brands of peanut butter that I'll buy, whereby my choice is determined primarily by best price amongst the three brands. Jif is creamy, easy to spread, not too sweet, tastes like freshly roasted peanuts, and never smells or tastes rancid. It is a tad saltier than I like. One of the best for baking and sauces, hands down. Try it, you just might like it!
