Can be used with the "newest" Hifiman HE 400i that has 3.5mm plugs on each side of the headphones
I wanted longer cables for my Hifiman HE 400i (the "newest" version, with 3.5mm plugs for each side of the headphones). Hifiman charges $125 for (approx. 1.5 meter) replacement cables and does not offer different lengths. There was only one brand of replacement listed on Amazon (Neomusica--which are also fine), so I decided to try these in the 2 meter length even though they were not specifically listed as a usable for the Hifiman HE 400i.I've got around 20 hrs on the KK Cable ZO-2s at this point and they seem to work absolutely fine with my Hifiman HE 400i headphones. Sound quality is on par with the the cables that come with the HE 400i (not an upgrade, but also not a downgrade--which is how I arrived at 4 stars), at less than half the price of Hifiman replacement cables.Recommended.
