DonMatteo 50 Dolce Americano - Dolce Gusto Compatible Coffee Capsules (10g x 50 Pods 50 Servings)

With a little trepidation, I ordered this pack of 50 Dolce Americano pods for £5.99, primarily as it felt a little too cheap. I drink only black coffee so the taste of the coffee itself is always paramount to me. However, I was more than pleasantly surprised by the depth of flavour and overall taste in this pod. I've drunk three of them at the time of writing, and believe these are superior to the original Nescafe pods. I am very impressed. They also worked perfectly in my Dulce Gusto machine despite not being original Nescafe pods. And they were delivered under the terms of my Prime membership so I received them next day postage-free. I can highly recommend these pods to all coffee drinkers!

I have over the years had alot of good coffee and using my Dolce Gusto I used Nestle but I purchased these from Amazon to try I am amazed how good they are, ,a strong but not too strong and tasty Americano,nice crema on top and just perfect Works fine in the Dolce Gusto machine and the price is excellent as was the delivery can recommend these and I will buy again and again

Good quality Americano coffee! The plastic pods, on the other hand, seem to vary in quality and maybe two out of ten leak a little water on to the worktop, for my machine at any rate. But the flavour is very good, as is the price!

Have now bought these pods several times. I think they are great value and the coffee tastes good. The coffee can sometimes take longer to come through the system but this is not a problem and you get a great crema on the top of your coffee. I have had the occasional one where the water has come out the side but I have had that happen with other pods.

I have a Mini unit and these pods fail just after starting to process the coffee. I have to stand over the machine and flip the switch off to stop back flow of the water. Then top up the cup from a kettle. The coffee is very tasty so still happy with the result, but not happy with the blow back on over 90% of the pods. Hopefully these blow backs have not damaged my machine. I would order again if I knew how to stop the blowback. Regards John

LOVE these pods! I actually prefer them to my Dolce Gusto pods! I would never have believed it! They are slightly milder but I don’t mind that. Much more crema than Dolce Gusto. Will definitely buy again and highly recommend.

As other reviews either split in machine and water and coffee grounds spilling everywhere, slow trickle but worse of all exploded in pod drawer and could not open even after 2 days after being told it will be ok after pressure subsided. Maybe coincidence and pressure bar on way out I was told. Had to throw machine, bought a new one and stupidly I thought benefit of doubt and try again. Same problem with 1st pod used, luckily drawer opened. Pods in bin and never again. Shame as milk pods are excellent. Got refund for pods but no acknowledgement of machine.

We purchased this along with the milk pods and just like the milk pods had no issues what so ever, we've used several pods so far, no leakages, pods fit perfectly. I would say we prefer the taste and strength of this coffee over the branded cappuccino option. Would highly recommend and will be buying again Thanks Addendum- Great amount of creme on top, smooth flavour
