Definitely would buy this again. I've been using the fence for my horses the last two weeks and it is fantastic. 300' allows me to section off my pasture keeping the horses separate from the cows and both seem respectful of the fence so far. I had been looking at 12' corral panels to create separate turn out areas, and this fence is so much better, 1/4 of the price, and allows me to configure it however I want. Rolling it up is a little more work than I think it should be, and I'm almost wondering if there's a defect in mine. I had a lot of trouble just trying to connect the handle, which should have been very straightforward. Despite that, it works very well. I prefer to have someone help me when I set it up because it's a lot of straight on the plastic posts when you make a corner unless someone is reinforcing it while you roll it out. Once set in place it's solid. Horses agree this was a solid purchase!

Easy to setup. Sheep and dogs stay in. Easy to move. Well worth the money. Be careful not bend or break the spikes.

Do Not Buy – Unsafe and Poorly Designed Product with Awful Customer Service Used this product once and it was a complete failure. Despite following all instructions, the wire spacing has a massive gap that allow goats and dogs to jump right through without getting shocked—or worse, get tangled in the wires and receive repeated shocks. Thankfully, I was nearby to unplug it, or it could’ve ended much worse. One of the cheap metal ground spikes even bent when a goat jumped through and got caught. When I returned the product, they charged me an outrageous $81.25 restocking fee, claiming it was “damaged and dirty”—even though it was used exactly once and only because the product failed to work as intended. This was not user error. It’s a poorly designed, potentially dangerous product backed by zero accountability.

I thought I’d give it a shot as I don’t like any fence that’s not positive negative but after I bought the fence, and seen how the connector is, it can be converted to positive negative. Also, there is an additional pole in each post if you take a wool sack needle. put your electric wire through it. You can quickly add an extra wire, which can also be made negative. Once you learn how to adjust the clutches it goes up in minutes and comes down in minutes. Hard ground pre-drill the holes. This is not a permanent fence it’s great when moving Sheep around from one fence area to another, when doing fuel brakes, etc., and to reinforce other fences

Thought this was a great idea but the quality is awful. The nut to the spindle broke almost immediately, which makes it almost impossible to roll up the line, which was the whole point in the first place. We can still roll it up, but it requires a wrench and how long will that last considering everything is plastic? Good luck just pulling the posts and trying to reset them -- it ends up a big, tangled mess. Could definitely use several more posts, consider the length of the wire. Our goats find spots where the posts are far apart and just blow through it. Battery seems durable. While a good idea, the quality of construction renders it toy. GALLAGHER: make everything more sturdy, include more posts. For the price point this should be more farm worthy.
