I can’t get enough of this volumizing gel. It’s truly the best product I’ve ever used. I have extremely flat and greasy hair, and this gel is the only one that helps me achieve an amazing volume hairstyle without giving me a greasy look.

This stuff is like voodoo magic. I have ridiculously fine and porous hair that gets weighted down easily by hair product, even those that are supposedly the holy grail for fine hair. I am not sure why I bothered trying yet another one, but I am so glad I did! It's heat activated, so I dried my hair upside down for a bit, using fingers to add light tension and hold roots out and away from scalp while drying. Then finished by styling as usual. Hair was not crunchy, had hold but still lots of natural movement, and didn't appear to lose much volume throughout the day. Not only was the end result notably improved fullness, but it also helped tame the frizzies, which meant less time with the straight iron and less silicone-based finishing smoother in my hair to weight it down again [Note: If your hair likes to frizz like it's trying to win a million dollar prize for frizziest hair on the planet, then give TIGI's Bed Head After Party a try.] For reference, my hair is cut in an angled bob with the back slightly above collar level and the front almost touching the collar bone. But I have the same struggles regardless of whether my hair is long or short, so this will likely also work in longer porous hair. (I keep saying porous because it's really a thing...especially if you are a red head and have wondered if your hair is actively trying to sabotage you every time you pull the hair dryer out.) I think it would also work for non-porous hair...probably even better, since your hair won't drink it up like you've just been on a 3-day bender in the desert.

THIS IS BETTER THAN MANY OTHER VOLUMIZING HAIR PRODUCTS I HAVE TRIED FOR MY BABY FINE AND THINNING HAIR. IT ONLY TAKES A TINY BIT ON THE ENDS OF MY FINGERS ON ONE HAND THEN RUB THEM WITH FINGER TIPS ON OTHER HAND AND APPLY TO HAIR FROM ROOTS TO ENDS. IF YOU USE MORE THAN JUST A LITTLE YOUR HAIR WILL FEEL GREASY/SLICK AND NO VOLUME WILL BE NOTICED. APPLY AFTER SHAMPOOING AND CONDITIONING AND TOWEL DRYING. I LET MY JAOR AIR DRY FOR 3-4 MINUTES THEN BLOW DRY USING A ROLLER BRUSH. LOTS OF VOLUME. MY HAIR IS SHORT- NOT A NECKLINE BY ANY MEANS, BUT JUST BELOW JAW LINE LENGTH AND IS NOT LAYERED. IF THAT HELPS.

Love this stuff works great for my medium length thin hair. Keeps the body for three days after wash.

I have short (maybe 5" on top) layered hair cut. I have naturally gray, fine texture and medium amount of hair. The Blow Dry Volumizing Gel didn't do much for my hair. I could feel the product on the hair, but didn't feel like I need to wash it out at the end of the day like I do when I use SexyHair Root Pump Plus Mouse. I didn't notice much of an effect from this gel. It was better than nothing on my hair at holding fly-aways at bay. There was no fragrance and I am sensitive to that.

I have been ill for the past year and wanted to try another volumizing product. This one is not it. The one I’ve been using for years is 100% better. This one makes no difference whatsoever in volume, and leaves my hair oily. Terrible product

I was having a problem with some styling gels and hair spray causing sores in my scalp, but this one is very good. I have used these products for years and I keep coming back to them.
