Heavy-duty, yet not heavier than the pump I'm replacing!
My existing pump has performed fine for decades. But I bent a Presta stem on my last overseas tour, since getting to 100psi with a handheld sometimes results in unintended motion, and that's what happened. That was in Syria, and immediately I was down a tube - a meaningful setback when you're off the grid.A few months go I was prepping for another off-the-grid ride (Morocco) and decided to get a pump that had a hose connection, and ideally, a foot-brace. This pump has those features, and it performed perfectly. Remarkably, it weighs no more than the other pump that I'm upgrading from. (In the photo, pump can be seen below the diagonal water bottle.)

Easy to use
I bought this 7 mo ago and used it the first time out on the bike path today. I ride a mountain bike, but mostly on paved roads and bike paths. I haven't done any trail riding in a while. So while I pump up my tubes to a higher pressure than I would if I was on a mountain trail, I'm not sure how that compares to a higher pressure road bike tire. Pump was very easy to use. I hope the below comments are helpful.Valve: It screwed onto the tube valve quickly and easily, although I did have to back it out once to get the threads aligned for a good seal. I don't buy the most expensive tubes, so I tend to be careful when I change them. I could see stripping the schrader valve threads easily if not careful. It also did not leak much air as I was unscrewing the pump off the valve. Nothing like losing half your newly pumped air trying to release the pump. This actually worked better than my full sized pump I have at home that slips on the valve. It's hard to get the full sized pump down far enough on the valve to create a good seal. Then it's always difficult to get the pump to release off the valve, so I have to pull really hard, then it releases and I end up smashing my hand on the wheel axial. The easy screw end on this worked very well.Hose Connection: The hose has a swivel attachment to the bottom of the pump cylinder. This makes the pumping less awkward. I can lay the wheel down or hold it upright and the swivel will adjust to the angle. I don't have to hold the pump at a weird angle to get a solid connection with the valve.Foot Pedal: The fold out foot pedal was convenient and allowed me to hold the wheel with one hand and pump with the other. It was sturdy and I had no problems keeping it under my foot.Pumping Action: The actual pumping was smooth and easy. Even when the tube was almost full at the higher pressure it was still easy to do a full length pump. I did have to pump quite a few times, but that is just a reality when using a smaller diameter and length pump. Again, pumping was easy. My 11 year old daughter could have easily pumped up the tire.Quality: I'd say it's decent quality. It's amazingly light weight. It's not the shortest pump I've owned, but I'm okay since it likely gives a higher air per pump ratio. I made sure to not pull out the handle too far. My guess is if you pulled it all the way out enough times, you would eventually cause some seal issues.Size: Like I said, it's not the shortest pump, but it's still pretty small. I do not attach it to my bike frame because I don't want dirt to get into the pump mechanism. It fits in my smaller size Camelbak along with my repair kit, so it works well for me.

Good pump, looks expensive.
Just realize it's a bright, shiny object that attracts eyes. I ended up returning because it was a little too big when attached to bike, and I needed something less obtrusive.

Quality pump
This pump is excellent. I've carried it 2000+ miles used it many times on 2.4x29 Mnt Bike tires. It is sturdy and effective.

I highly recommend it!
Nice design that provides easy attachment to bike. Pumps easily and quickly. Works great on sports balls as well. Everything I expected from a product like this one. Love the chrome look too!

After optimizing my approach this is a solid pump and nice fit for my 26" Fat Tire bike
I really like the attachment using it beneath my water bottle holder screws. It sits off to the side with the water bottle in the center and looks and works super.I struggled a bit using this pump on my fat tire bike with a Schrader valve. It just barely fits with the 26x4 fat tire stem/wheel at the absolutely lowest position to the ground to use the foot brace. But it fits and it pumps it up as fast I need it to when I am out on the road. I would never use it in the garage when I have my regular pump because...More air.I also had an issue with the Schrader valve. It may have been that the hose was kinking before I figured out that orientation to the ground limitation, but I think that Schrader center piece screws by turning it?

Almost perfect- but it could use a couple of tweaks
Have you ever tried to use a mini pump on a ride. Think tired frustrated and inpatient. Thank god for c02 cartridges. Well this pump is a big upgrade from a mini pump but it is larger so you have to accommodate that. It is smaller than a frame pump and I think just as effective and efficient. I have a specialized diverge and it just fits in my down tube compartment, hooray no mounting on the bottle cage. It is a light as a mini pump, it has a flexible air hose. I added a small presta/Schrader conversion fitting to eliminate air leakage during hose connection or removal. Works like a charm. 200 pumps to reach 60 lbs in a 38mm tire with no effort! I could see 90 lbs easily achieved on a 25mm with the same effort….don’t need that much as I run tubeless. Compared to a two stage mini pump (bought at same time to compare) 200 pumps for 40 lbs with effort. I thinks to get to 60 lbs on the mini pump would be a challenge. Opportunity for improvement, hose clip in to handle for storage is not firm and it slides out…. Would be concerned for cage mount…can be fixed with a couple wraps of tape. So bottom line… I have confidence I can use this pump quickly and efficiently during a ride when I am hot tired, exhausted, dehydrated, frustrated and inpatient :) and quickly get the pressure I want on a road, gravel or mtb tire.

Pump Mount fits fine in a non-standard location with no rattles or pedal interference.
I am in the process of 'accessorizing' my brand new Tern GSD cargo E-bike. With those giant balloon tires that it has, it needs an air pump that is more substantial then a common hand air pump. There are many water bottle mounts on the GSD, most of which don't have the clearance for a water bottle. There is such a spot underneath the frame that holds the top battery. The Pro Tool Air Pump frame mount fits fine, holds the pump parallel to the frame. The Velcro hold fast, the first loop secures the pump body, the 2nd loop secure the rubber hose so that it won't come loose. No Rattles, no interference with the pedals

Just another bike pump?
Having been a cyclist for over half a century, I've had a few bicycle pumps in my time. Never one like this, though. It's beautifully engineered-it seems a shame to use it and risk denting the lovely aluminium body! I've just used it the one time so far, to inflate a tyre on a road bike. The Schrader/Presta adaptor is simple to use and it gives a perfect seal, making inflation of the tyre an easy operation. The method of storing the hose is a lesson in ingenuity. A machined groove in the adaptor lightly clips into the handle. The inclusion of the foot peg is a great plus. There's even a rubber/plastic insert in the base, proud of the surface, to prevent the pump body making contact with your tiled floor when you're using it in your kitchen!Added to that, Chris, the owner of the business, followed up the order with a helpful guide (which, personally, I didn't need, but some might find it useful). Can't recommend this highly enough.

Great pump but could be slightly better
This is a well made pump, with the finish being to a very high standard, I was really happy using this pump and it was able to pump my tires on a road bike to a high volume. The 2 things that proved to be a niggle that meant I didn't rate this at 5 stars was -- The tip for the valve didn't seat correctly in the pump's handle and is annoying to me, might just be the one I have.- The length hose is just a little too short, it works don't get me wrong but it would be so much better if it was longer as your sometimes are full stretch if when pumping from the floor.Other than those 2 things I found this was a good pump and is light and minimal to be carried in the back jersey pocket if required.

Simply the best
Astonishing pump.Sits easily against my bottle cage and is a ted longer than most pumps you will find on road bikes..... BUT, this is a true quality piece of engineering. If I lost it, I'd buy two more tomorrow in case I lost another. All the effort that people put into trying to inflate to a high enough pressure is often way way below what is required to get you to your destination safely without risk of pinch punctures - that ends with this pump.Although it doesn't behave a guage, I found that the tension on the downstroke was all I needed to know all was good - so, I used a track pump to get to where I should be, then released the air and pumped it up again to where I thought it should be - it was close... but it was EASY.Buy it now.

The best mini pump I have ever bought with reasonable price.
Here is my review but I only used once so far.So I can not comment about its durability yet.Likes: 1. I could pump the 700 25C tyre at more or less required pressure easily. (Pressure only checked by pressing the tyre with fingers).2. Hose with two types of valve was easy to use.Best mini pump I have bought.Did not like: 1. Mount bracket. Could not find a good place to mount where the pump does not catch my foot or leg while pedaling. So I fitted two tool clips on the seat tube using screws for a bottle cage and it works very good without any interferences. It would have been nice to have a pressure gauge.

and long enough it easily stretch from valve to pump
As soon as us pump is taken out of the box, you can feel that is is a quality product. Light weight Alloy means this pump is strong, but light, and reliable to boot. The screw on/off reversible a Presta/Schader valve is a neat touch, and works realoy well. So just the one pump can be taken on a ride out with bikes carrying different valves. Genius idea. The flexible rubber hose is strong, and long enough it easily stretch from valve to pump. The foot stand works well too allowing easy leverage if you want to give you'd pumping some added wellie ;)the engineering of the pump, where the valve head slots into the pump handle is a really neat touch. Top quality engineering. Would highly recommend this pump. The addition of a clip so you can mount the pump under your water bottle...or any other attach pint on your bike is a useful Bin s. I have bought a number of tools for my bike from Pro Bike Tool, and can't recommend them highly enough.
