Review: doesn't care if compressor is cold or hot, it performs well either way. Good stuff. - I've saved all the used oil from oil changes in clear bottles just for comparison. My compressor (5HP/60gal, bought new) doesn't run as often as it would in a commercial setting, so I only change the oil about once a year. Oil comes out nearly clear, same as it went in, with no visible particulates even during the breakin period. Since it's synthetic, it doesn't care if the compressor is in a heated/cooled shed or not, it will perform the same whether hot or cold. It's expensive, but for a 1X a year cost, it's trivial. Seems worth it to me, and I'm a penny-pincher.

A: I don't understand the question.....is what one quart or one liter?

**Q: is this two 1L bottles or two 500mL bottles?**
A: each is a 1 Liter bottle.

**Q: this oil is for 30 hp compressor too ?**
A: A 30 HP compressor is a very large commercial grade unit. The unit I have is only 5HP/60 gallon. I honestly can't answer your question given the fact that I'm not familiar with compressors this large. I'd recommend contacting the manufacturer

**Q: just got this and it is clear color like water, not the usual amber like color, is this normal?**
A: Mine was pretty near to clear as well--just slightly yellow like light canola oil. Possibly a formula change? I remember the first quart that I bought a couple years ago was much darker is well.

I've saved all the used oil from oil changes in clear bottles just for comparison. Since it's synthetic, it doesn't care if the compressor is in a heated/cooled shed or not, it will perform the same whether hot or cold. It's expensive, but for a 1X a year cost, it's trivial. Seems worth it to me, and I'm a penny-pincher.
