Thickness of a butterfly wing
Yes, putting cloth between a couple of quite damp towels and setting dryer on “low” for 2 minutes is great. (Don’t do longer than 2 minutes however.) Thing is the cloth immediately begins to cool off and pucker. By the time I could get it back to my table it looked like it needed a good ironing. Had bought placemats and these are helping considerably.Tablecloth purveyors are getting away with using material that sets wrinkles making challenging circumstances for their buyers. They need to know we are not amused by their cost cutting cheap shenanigans…

Cheap material!
I needed a new vinyl tablecloth for my dining room table because my previous one was too short, plus the kids had marked it all up with pens. I chose this one for its elegant look, but it is CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP! When it first arrived, I had to air it outside for a day because the chemical smell was so strong. It does look elegant on my dining room table, but within two weeks I noticed a tear in the fabric. Now there's countless tears all around the tablecloth, and it's not even getting used that heavily. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Nice Design and It works for what I needed it for
My 3 young grandchildren were coming to visit. Grandma is always willing to do crafts with them, which includes markets, crayons, paint and glue. Needed something fast to put on my new wood kitchen table. My older grandchildren did some damage to my old wood table when they were younger. So I learned from experience to put a plastic tablecloth now when the younger grandchildren come to visit. Tried to get the creases of it by putting it in the dryer for a couple minute but didn't work. With the flannel back it does move a little bit on the table but not so bad. Found it easy to clean with the juice stains, pancake syrup, crayons and paint. It also saved my new table from getting any scratches on the wood. The oval shaped leaf design fit my table perfectly, now I will have to buy a larger one for when the built in leaf comes up.

Too thin
We purchased this Sonoma Damask printed flannel backed vinyl tablecloth for our wood kitchen table. It is VERY thin, almost as thin as disposable vinyl with a thin flannel backing. Right out of the package, it was separated at the serged hem in two places. Within a couple of days there were nicks, snags and small tears in the vinyl on top. For the price, I had hoped it would be a bit thicker. Within a week, we topped it with a fabric tablecloth and are using it as protection between the fabric and the wood. Looked good out of the package, but I can not recommend this product as it is far too delicate.

I might just not be a vinyl type of gal...
I purchased 2 of these in 2 different colors & found them to be OK. It's just that for half the price, I could have gotten the same thing at my big box store. I guess I kind of expected these to be less smelly, better quality, longer lasting, etc. than a normal vinyl tablecloth at the price I paid. I mean, they weren't expensive compared to a car, but they weren't cheap compared to other vinyl cloths. I had to use table cloth clips to keep them in place - just like other covers I've used. There just isn't anything special about them. So, if you're shopping for a vinyl table cloth, I'm not sure that price really matters. I'm thinking you get what you get - it might not be a case of you get what you pay for. I'm done with what I consider to be disposable table cloths. I'm now using a fabric one, and so far, I'm pleased with it. I have to launder the fabric one, rather than just wipe it down & I use a place mat at my son's spot (he's a bit sloppy) - but so far it's saved me time & money. It's kind of a weird texture (polyester), but stains come out easily - no more shopping for vinyl.

Size and color perfect for my table but can’t get creases out
I bought this tablecloth because it was oval and it was the perfect size. The color was perfect. Unfortunately it was folded in the package in such a way as to leave creases in the middle and weird folds and wrinkles. This caused it to look terrible! I tried wiping it down with warm water then warmer water. It didn’t work. In desperation, I put it in the washer on gentle to try to get them out. What I got was the flannel backside destroyed (Worse yet the middle creases were still there). But it is not even worth exchanging, I would probably have the same problem! It is also paper thin

Beyond Cheap
Terrible quality. Barely worth $3 let alone $15. There are spots on it where there is no blue and the flannel backing is showing. It's terribly thin and sadly I've paid so much more than it's worth that the thought of the effort to send it back is exhausting. Disappointing. Picture is one section of spots.

Don't know how to judge a good vinyl tablecloth from a bad one
Finally, found one in the size I needed. I bought a 52 x 70 oval vanilla tablecloth. I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and they didn't have any that small, and Walmart didn't have any that were oval. We had a cloth tablecloth, and for everyday use on the kitchen table it wasn't practical. My wife would wash it and within a week it would have small stains from whatever we had for dinner. So this solves that problem. Don't know how to judge a good vinyl tablecloth from a bad one, but it looks OK on the table. They call the color vanilla, but it's what I would call tan or khaki.
