How does the adhesive disc stay sticky?** A: The other piece has a magnet on the end so yes, it would work for that. Sticky eventually stops working. I saw the combo pack with the slimmer handles, but didn't order them immediately. Then they became unavailable. I waited about a year, keeping them on my wish list and checking periodically. When they reappeared for order, I placed my order immediately.And I like these much better than the original, which I already thought was quite functional. I'm disabled and spend my days in a wheelchair. I have just about every reaching device known to man, and this is one of the handiest for unusual applications. Drop your keys? The hook is there, and a magnet besides. Drop a CD or a piece of paper, practically impossible to pick up with a standard reacher? Telestik to the rescue. I love it that they replaceable disks, although sadly they're now out of stock and unavailable with no due date.These reachers deserve to be better known!
