Snapped on 2nd outing fishing for small trout
While fishing for small trout / perch using tiny weights and worm for bait upon a strike the rod snapped. The strike was missed and I reeled in broken rod, worm and weight. Very surprised this happened been fishing for many years and never seen the likes of it before. Has to be a manufacturing defect. Awaiting response from seller regarding refund. Have no faith in Nomura now. My intention was to use the rod for saltwater light boat fishing. It definitely would have snapped even on retrieve of a 28g lure. I’m very disappointed.Update**seller sent replacement

Great piece of kit
As someone who loves fishing- and i mean loves it!- this rod was excellent for the price- really does feel good fighting medium to large bass, pollock and wrasse- haven't had any problems with it so far and has a great action to it too. there are some great reviews online about this rod, and would highly recommend "the Fishinglocker" on youtube as he went through the pros and cons and has been fishing with his one for over a year or so! Nomura do some other excellent rods too, and all worth the money
