Elemental

The book as a whole flowed well and ended in such a way that I am looking forward to the next installment. The characters are relatable and interesting. For the YA readers, there is adventure, sadness, humor, friendship, and a little romance.It is another dystopia story line with a creative approach. There are many secrets, some which were revealed in this story and other's I'm sure will be revealed in the future. I recommend this book to any young adult and to adults that like to read YA books.As a side note, I really like the cover of the book. It caught my attention when I was scanning for a new book series to read.

Author Antony John "Hit the mark" with this SciFi thriller. I bought this book for my son. And he became instantly immersed in the world of Elemental. I would recommend this book to parents with middle schoolers. Great use of vocabulary and grammar.

The book was well written, good dialogue, good description and decent world building. The ideas surrounding the story were good, however, the protagonist, Thomas felt inactive. He followed everyone else lead through the entire book and never felt like the main player in the story. It was frustrating seeing his inaction and the way it felt as if he was constantly been manipulated throughout the entire story. When he found out he was been lied to, a few paragraphs later he would forgive, forget and move on only to have the scenario repeat itself, over and over again. I won't be reading any other books in this series.

This book grabbed my attention and held it. Great characters and story line.I've read all novels by this author - if you are looking for some new young adult titles, check out his work. Enjoy!

I chose this rating only because I love books like this and this is the best one I've read so far

I found the setting a reason to visit a map and recall where the island was located . Also connected with the black plague in the 1500. did not understand the reasoning behind the romances between the characters. Preferred the development of each characters self awareness and confidence.

An easy read.

I couldn't put my phone down(while reading this book) cause wanted to know more about what happens next, and with such an supernatural concept made this science fiction into an epic read.
