I work at home and have to strictly adhere to a schedule where I get two 15min breaks and an hour lunch. I would find myself trying to throw together dinner or put the baby to sleep and just needed that little reminder to let me know it's time to get back to work. This is super cute I got the blue one with the gold stem because it was cheaper and totally still cute. It's a bit hefty feels like painted wood, it can also double as a paper weight.Overall I love it and it's easy to use! All I have to do is wind it to the time I require and it starts counting down. It can get a bit annoying because you can here the ticker as its counting. Plus the bell it uses to alert you the time is up can be a bit quiet but it gets the job done for me I would recommend this but if you need something extra loud this may not be for you. Which is why I rated as 4 instead of the 5 stars.

i ordered two. the owl and the frog. the frog is great. really cute. larger than i thought it would be. its great. use it all the time. the owl however, came slanted and it has stopped running two times now. it worked fine for a while even tho it was slanted. but it seems to have affected the mechanism. that being said, its cute and i would use it all the time if i could!if the seller would like to exchange the item, i can update my review and rating to accommodate for this.

Works as advertised! It's so cute. All of my friends have commented on it saying they adore it. Great solution since I recently moved into an apartment with an older oven that didn't have a built in timer.UPDATE:Well, this timer has lasted approximately 5 months. And it surely could have kept going had I not knocked it off from its place on my microwave and onto the counter. But really? That’s a one foot drop. I didn’t think it was THAT fragile.In short: Only get this timer if you’re careful and there’s never a chance that you’ll knock it over on the counter.At least it’s still nice decor.

This product is junk. A tiny dollop of glue was what they attempted to hold this ceramic top on. It came in broken, I’m going to try to put it back together but I doubt it will even keep time if I do get it to hold. I intentionally did not buy the cheapest one I found because I wanted it to actually work… Don’t waste your money on this!

It is with great sadness and disappointment that I must give this product a negative review. This timer is nice and heavy, not too breakable, adorable, looks perfect in our son's play kitchen; but, it does not ring or make noise of any kind after the alotted number of minutes has passed, which ultimately renders the egg timer entirely useless. We would love it so much if only it worked. We had planned many activities to use it for that we now still need an egg timer in order to do.

I absolutely love the design. This timer is absolutely adorable and adds a smile to my day every time I see it.The only issue I have is of personal preference. The clicking of the timer is incredibly distracting to me since I struggle with focus, and the alarm is a bit annoying. But it definitely does keep the pressure on to finish your task.Great for using Pomodoro method (25 min work on task then 5 min break)

Right out of the box - didn't work! Don't waste your money on this piece of crap. You turn it to far left then back to time you want - say 5 min. and it just sits there! Not worth my money to return it! Into the garbage it goes! If I could give it a MINUS rating I would.

Cute, but the ringer is not very loud.

Great kitchen wind-up timer - its basic but being a Flamingo, what's not to love!
