Missing Info for Beginners

I'd like to make the pumpkin biscotti and the list of ingredients says 1 1/2 pumpkin spice. Is it a teaspoon? Also, several recipes say dip in chocolate, but I can't find instructions and ingredients for how to do that. Otherwise, the variety of recipes is awesome and the book is inspiring me to make biscotti for the first time.

What a waste of money. It's one biscotti recipe with multiple add in variations that totally lack creativity.
