You can set it to show the time when you're in a dive mode or as a normal watch has quite a few settings and functions a very good starter watch for diving, how many downside is once it's set and during the water you cannot use the buttons to reset to another mode.

Can you change the battery yourself or must it go into a shop to be pressure tested?

I have not had the chance to change the battery just yet as I bought the product recently. However, I have been always advised to take any diving watch into a specialised shop and let them do that. The seals that prevent water going into the case can be easily damaged or placed in a wrong position in the process of reassembling the parts. My advice is: spend a little more to ensure to not change the whole lot :)

Can this be used to scuba dive

I wouldn't use it for scuba I only use it for free diving.
