In my opinion, the negative reviews are a bit critical and harsh. This is not an Insta-Pot sent here to solve all of earths problems.😁 This slotted quilling tool is a job aid just like a hammer is an aid. Perhaps approaching it with that mindset will provide the user with a positive result. Its very easy to use but does take some effort of participation by the user. The user controls the tension of the paper, the quality of the paper and control of the quilled paper. Im not a skilled quiller by any stretch of the imagination and was able to figure out technique in just two attempts. Two different sized slot heads. Quick and easy to change. Batteries easy to install. This is an inexpensive tool to increase speed and reduce length of time to complete a piece of art. Helping your electric slotted quilling tool in its job will go a long way. As you get to the end of the quill, perhaps finish manually to control it from spinning off. Assist with the initial quilling of the paper by manually wrapping the first loop or two. Tool is designed to work with the user’s technique. Worth trying out. Great tool with a great price. It’s cheaper than a McDonalds meal so definitely not a waste of money 😁 Happy Quilling ya’ll!!!!

I realize many are complaining about how fast this turns. After 4 or 5 attempts I got the hang of it and absolutely love this quilling tool. The 2 pin sizes makes it easy for those times when I want to quill 2 or 3 strips simultaneously for an interesting effect. Batteries are intuitively easy to change as is the pin. Once the 2 AAA batteries are installed it has a nice heavy weight to it and it seems sturdy. The On switch is easy to use and properly located. This is a well made quilling tool.

This does not work on 65lb cardstock. I have carpal tunnel and need to make 3d flowers for crafts. It spins for a fraction of a second and gets stuck. You can use your other hand to guide it but it goes for maybe half a second before it gets stuck again. Speed is pretty fast. This would probably work well for quilling regular paper.

Easy to use.

Biggest issue is that the tool does not work. Instructions call for 2 AA but only AAA’s fit. That should have been the first sign that the tool would not work. It is very difficult to get apart to change batteries as well. Very disappointed considering all the high reviews.

I enjoy that this speeds up the process. It’s easy to use and does the trick. However, this did leave tiny paper cuts on my fingers. I solved the issue by using finger cots to cover my fingers. Overall it’s nice but been using my traditional ones more

I only just started quilling and am SOOO glad I found this thing!! It’s awesome! I have seen several people complain that it’s too fast; they’re right it is but if you hold on to the paper on the needle very loosely, you won’t have any problems.

I purchased this quilling tool because it is hard to turn the paper by yourself and get it even. I also have carpal tunnel and sometimes my hands and wrist hurt from turning paper but this tool is battery operated. All you have to do is place your quilling paper in the slotted hole and press the button and hold on, and it quills the paper for you. The best hole ever. I would definitely recommend it if you are into quailing it saves so much time and you can get so many pieces done. It’s worth the money and it is a good quality.

Perfect for my needs

This is an amazing electric quilling tool as you can work faster and better. The tool is a little bit fiddly to handle at first but once you get used to it, it is really easy. I saved so much more time when i used this rather than using my old handhld tool. Amazing product!
