Good bulk supply of Sodium Bicarbonate for pool alkalinity
I have purchased this 50 lb bag many times (over 10) for pool Alkalinity balancing since 2022. I store it inside my house, in a Vestil 3.5G plastic PAIL-SCR-35-W container (ASIN: B0052P26YG) in order to keep it away from humid air. Not all of the 50 lbs fits in this 3.5G container, so the remainder (maybe 8-9 lbs) I put in an outside container that I grab from for the pool. Storing it this way I have never had an issue with humidity affecting the product.This Sodium Bicarbonate product works great. It raises the alkalinity as much as I would expect (performs as expected). The price is one of the lowest I can find for this size (delivered), making it a great deal when compared to other options for raising pool alkalinity. Will continue to purchase.

A great bulk buy for your pool!
I pride myself on a clear and clean pool but hated spending tons of money at the pool store. I was using the large bags of Arm & Hammer baking soda from the warehouse store but the bag size decreased from 15lbs down to 13lbs and the product was always clumping.This stuff arrived quickly and was dry and granular making the effort to pre-dissolve it before adding it to our a lot easier and in some cases I have even broadcasted it directly into the water. It does a great job of regulating alkalinity.I definitely recommend this for anyone who does their own chemicals with the only caveat being that you need to supply your own air tight bucket to keep it from away from humidity.NOTE - I just ordered this at the end of the season and it came in a light weight box that was all beat up with product leaking out of the corners and torn sides of the box. If I didn't know better, I would have assumed that the box fell down five flights of stairs before being delivered to our home. Amazon did a great job and did make it right. So, yeah Amazon!
