I did put heel inserts in them for more cushion because I am on my feet for hours at a time. If you have a desk job or a job where you get to sit some then you probably don’t need heel inserts. I think that these are true to size. For reference I am a true size 6 and out of fear of being to small I bought a size 6.5 which is slightly big but the strap helps to hold them in place. I believe in waiting to write reviews so that I can give an accurate reflection on products. I have worn these shoes a number of times and they are holding up nicely but I am easier on shoes than some. They came at a great price and are very much worth their price tag. I only wish that they made shoes like this with restaurant grade tread on the sole. If they did then I would buy them in brown and black. They are my go to brown shoes and with my complexion they are a nice nude shoe on me.
