Works exactly like I imagined. I have some patchy areas towards the top of my scalp that have been there for a few years (it's genetic). As a woman, I get very insecure about visible hair loss and try to part my hair in different ways. Finally, I decided to try this out. I have very dark brown Asian hair and I got the color dark brown. I took people's advice on here saying this stuff goes on darker than you expect so order a shade lighter, and they were right. Maybe black would work too but I imagine it's for people who dye their hair jet black. Before this I tried purchasing Joan Rivers Great Hair Day. The color was alright but it wasn't what I was looking for. It comes with a brush to apply the powder to your scalp like eyeshadow, and the powder's flat, so it's literally eyeshadow on your scalp. The brush application didn't work all that well and it felt like it was just brushing the product on my hair. It didn't stay on that great either. In comparison, Toppik uses fibers that fluff up a bit and give the product more dimension on the scalp, so it looks more realistic. I would like to add that I don't have complete bald spots, just thinned out areas. This stuff works very well as long as you have some sort of hairs to blend into. I don't wash my hair every day and this product stays on my hair until I wash it again. Sometimes I go back in and touch up if I need to but for the most part it stays put pretty well. It at least stays on for an entire day. I will say that this stuff doesn't completely wash out every time you wash your hair, but after a while the powder balls up on your scalp, making it look funky. You can rub the balled up spots and it'll disperse on your scalp, but it's best to scrub your scalp when you wash your hair. This is kind of gross but when this stuff is on your scalp for too long, it itches, and when I scratch it, the dark product gets under my nails and it's not pretty. I don't have the special applicator they sell to put this stuff on. Don't need it. Since my spots are at the top of my scalp, I simply sprinkle this stuff on and pat it down and that's it. I've used it several times and there's still a bunch left in the container. I imagine this stuff to last a very long time. At first I thought this was a bit pricey, but it's a solid investment and an easy fix to my hair. Nobody can tell I have product on my scalp, and it doesn't look fake in photos. Recommend (at least for people who aren't completely bald)!

Amazing!!! This is some magic dust. Took the suggestions from other reviews on application. 1. Open it upside down 2. Shake and tap in the area where hair is thinning. (Had my spouse help me the first few times but now I can easily dust out a nice head of hair on my own) 3. Use fingers to gently blend 4. Use hair spray to keep things in place Hair feels great. Can run my hands through it no problems. Doesn’t leave any marks on my pillow if I decide to leave it in a couple days. Washes out easy in the shower. This has been a huge boost for me. Great purchase choice! Tip: style your hair before hand and have this be the last thing you do.

So, if you're bothering to read reviews about anything like this in your ongoing battle with baldness, then let me be clear, right up front - the hair loss is winning the war. To terribly misquote Jim Morrison, "No hair gets out of here alive".... So, you're hoping against all odds that some miracle product will be a cheap, effective, undetectable cure-all in your fight against genetics or disease...well, the good news is THIS PRODUCT KIND OF WORKS. Let me be as transparent as the fine little hairs you're hoping will grow on your head - if you have some hair, but it's thinning pretty bad, this stuff will make it look fuller and hide some of the dreaded scalp showing through - however, if you plan on people getting really close to it, you can see the toppik on your scalp (at least, the dark colors show up if you're Caucasian or light skinned) - but this should work well for a job interview, a date in a restaurant, an acting/theatre gig, maybe even a family gathering - but if you plan on getting lucky and he/she not noticing the smudges on the pillow in the morning, you are out of luck....If battling hair loss is what you're up against, then Toppik is, metaphorically, another tool in the tool box. Use it with along with everything else - but use it in moderation. Too much and you're a powdered, bald donut. Finally, don't blindly listen to the claims by some of these Amazon reviewers saying it's "amazing" and "no one noticed" - because, if anyone looked close enough, they probably could tell you've got cornstarch type colored powder layering your nearly hairless scalp. On the other hand, don't listen to all these complainers saying it doesn't work at all or that it's garbage - they're just angry, balding trolls with sweaty scalps who were just hoping to find a dirt cheap solution to a problem that has plagued men and women forever. If you have little or no hair, this product really won't work - but if you're in the middle of your hair-less fight, you'll have some pretty good luck with this. I hope this review helps - as I'm someone who's done Bosley, Propecia, Rogaine, Toppik, Tocotrienols and have had some luck with all of them. If, after my long winded review you're still unsure (and you should be) then buy the tiny cheap bottle of Toppik (it will set you back around $10 with shipping) - it's a small price to pay to see if a product works for you. Toppik is really effective at hiding my widening part. I had to get a different color at first. My hair is dark brown so the light brown didn’t match. Almost reddish. I just tap the bottle over the part and it fills in the gap. Kind of like using a salt shaker. I love it and highly recommend it.

This is messy. It works great if you have a bald spot on the top or back of your head. I tried it on my hairline above my forehead and while it filled in my hairline, I didn't like the look of it. It was filled in, but unnatural. I used an index card to keep the fallout off my forehead and it helped some, but still got everywhere.

I admit that I was very skeptical of a product like this. After extensive research I commit to buying it and I'm glad I did. This. Stuff. Works! Until the mynoxodyl I'm using starts working, this gives me new found confidence and I no longer feel self conscious about my thinning hair. Highly recommended!

Le suelo poner un poco de laca, se espolvorea el producto y otra vez se fija con laca (efecto mate) y queda de maravilla. Si te mojas lógicamente se irá el producto, pero aguanta incluso si sudas y no caen chorretes ni nada por el estilo.
