Can we used this for entrance door? Is is safe because many times touch our hands that door?

Not sure how safe it is to touch. But several times while spraying it has deposited in my hands and the smell is strong. It is very effective in keeping away the lizards, and any nearby will immediately leave. Recently, instead of spraying in the air, i started to spray in wads of paper to put in loft. Avoid the aerosol spreading unnecessarily
