Exactly .20 (two tenths) of an inch to the top of the treads. If you have a belt sander to grind the edges exactly to the profile of the old soles, you can't even see the repair. It's a long wearing material too.Cheers!

It is very large. I made a template and cut it to size.

Will these work for a size 7 wolverine 1000 mile boot?

Yes1. glue in place2. dry3. trim excessI used these to repair size 10 boots

Do these help as non slip soles? I work as a bartender and the floors are always wet.

Most vibram soles like like these lug soles have an anti slip and oil resistant quality (there’s a difference), so I try to stick with vibram lugs. You can read about that on their web site. I use these on all of my riding boots with leather soles (motorcycle) to avoid slipping on slippery streets. They make a big difference in confidence when I put my feet down on a wet or oily road. I haven’t slipped yet and I can feel the difference between these vibram soles and my other boots w regular rubber or crepe.
