The rods on it are sturdy but small enough in circumference to allow even the smaller earrings to be hung on it. I don’t wear necklaces so it’s nice that the stand can be raised and lowered to accommodate more earrings. If you wear necklaces it can be raised to a pretty good height, but wouldn’t be long enough to hang a Kendra Scott long necklace for example. It would lay slightly on the bottom. The side box on it is great for tiny earrings and rings. It doesn’t take up much space and is a very neutral design so it goes with many styles of decor.
