They are just too temperamental. I've ordered the Rosemary and also a four pack of Rosemary, Sage, Oregano and Thyme. These were very moist upon arrival and just needed a good watering and sunlight to bring them back. These Basil plants may not make it. First of all, they are about one third the size they show in the picture. Very skimpy and new looking. Each plant had 2-3 leaves and that is it. Very new and delicate. They were so dry that the dusty dry dirt shook out of their plastic containers into the box. I don't think they were roughed up, I just think that whoever is sending out the Basil is not taking the same care as the other plants. Basil needs a good watering and wrapped in plastic around the pot to keep the moisture in. Bonnie's should know this. The refund was easy though.
