This shade is beautiful and highly pigmented. It applies smoothly, gives excellent coverage, and leaves the hair feeling soft and healthy. Very easy product to use that gives a great color. That being said, it definitely is not good enough to be a standalone for a long time. I definitely feel like I need to use like a supplemental color depositing shampoo after like 2 weeks (It is a temporary hair color so as expected). I will say that the part where you cover your hair with a plastic bag and then heat it up with the hair dryer does make it big difference. I dyed my hair in two batches and the second time I didn't do that and it came off way faster.

So I have tried a number of fun color hair dyes the past couple years. Recently I thought to try something that Arctic Fox (I tried Hayley Williams’ brand) and that dye just was terrible. It was not consistent and faded to blue in some parts and red on others. I had lightened my hair to nearly white prior to and had no other dye so it sucked. But after I waited for that to fade as much as possible, I touched up my root lightening and then threw on purple af. I left it on for over an hour with a developer cap to keep my head warm and moist. I could not be happier. Won’t be using any other brand ever again! Pros: super vibrant, smells amazing, makes my hair feel really good after Cons: stains like a mofo for the first couple of days but if you get a good color shampoo and conditioner (particularly a conditioner that will seal in the moisture to your hair) it will stop bleeding off when you shower or onto your clothes pillowcases, etc. Best advice- put Vaseline around your skin near your hairline, have a washcloth handy, and wear gloves. Life is too short to not have fun with your hair!

Did not work at all. I left it one for 40 minutes and you can barely see any color. Punky is much better.

While this hair dye gives vibrant color, even on non-bleached hair, it fades faster than any other dye I've tried. It is great for whn you need color for an event or costume, but not as a regular dye.

I'll start this by saying I've used so many different colors from Arctic Fox and I still stand by this brand until my hair falls out and I need wigs. I might even dye my wigs with it if it comes to that 🤣 it smells great, I can leave it in for hours and it makes my hair feel fantastic! It doesn't last forever, but I enjoy changing up my hair so I consider that a feature! Anyway, story time: I accidentally bought Blue Jean instead of Poseidon and I was initially disappointed. It looked too dark and grey.. the under part of my hair is lightened as well as the front "bangs" area. After my last round Poseidon washed out, I had planned to use Purple AF on the roots and Poseidon down the rest. I was gonna use the last but of Poseidon I had left, but accidentally got the wrong color and didn't have enough of my last bottle left to do what i needed... I decided to just give it a shot with the new color anyway, (worst case scenario I'll wash my hair more frequently and try again when it lightens up), but honestly this has been my FAVORITE combination I've done so far! Blue Jean Baby and Purple AF look SO good next to my natural brown hair! It's one of my more subtle dye jobs, but I'm very happy with it! If you're looking for two darkish colors for your next dye job, please let me convince you to try this out! I think I finally found my favorite!!

This is my signature color ✨ I first tried this color specifically in July 2020, I’ve been using arctic fox since like 2017 after battling with pink (just the nature of the color) I wanted a more hands off color, so I tried purple and loved it, but then I got bored with that after a year or so and once I got this blue in my hair and saw it dried. That’s all she wrote it’s been my hair color ever since I’ve included photos of various stages of washes. The last one is almost six months without a redye and YEARS without bleaching my dark blonde hair. First is with a fresh lightening and the color after one wash to get residual color out. Using this brand all these years I’ve picked up a few tricks to make this color go as long as possible (and make it impossible to get out probably) 1. Let that dye marinate in your hair, the bottle says about 30 minutes, I’d go for about 3 hours minimum. Sleep in it if you can. The dye is conditioner based so it’s not going to harm it whatsoever (probably do the opposite!) I leave mine in for about 6 hours or so, I usually take a cozy nap on redye day with a towel on my pillow to prevent staining 2. Do not wash it for the first 48 hours, any dye you left in is going to saturate into the follicle even more, hopefully staining it in the process. Cold water those first few washes where the color is still bleeding out after shampoo is VITAL bc that’s indication the follicle hasn’t closed all the way 3. Don’t just shampoo before you apply, if you can handle it use a clarifying shampoo and absolutely do NOT conditioner whatsoever before applying the dye, you want the follicle as open and dry as possible to help make sure it absorbs the color Also EVERYONES HAIR IS DIFFERENT just because this dye works great for me doesn’t mean it’s going to achieve the same result on you~ 🖤

El color es tal cual aparece en el envase y la descripción (azul), siempre que el pelo estébien decolorado. Ya había usado antes la marca, es muy suave con el pelo, lo deja muy bien acondicionado y tiene buen olor. Lo uso para re matizar después de ir a la peluquería.
