Best Z-Wave Siren for the Price
This is the best Z-Wave siren at a reasonable price at the moment. It works perfectly with Home Assistant. I bought 5 of them. Some of them required a bit of effort to open the battery compartment but I managed with a flat screwdriver. The delivery is extremely quick.

Loud, but close to dead battery
Can’t really complain that much, it’s very loud but expect the batteries included to be low and not rechargeable despite charging port.

Paired with v3 hub
Paired with v3 hub, so far so good, but haven't had to use it yet.

Did I get returned item?
This came in without any packaging, no manual, contents listed on the side of the box are not included, unit was already turned on and batteries were flat. I mean... seriously? The siren however does make a sound so I'll keep it to save the hassle of returning, two star though - that's not how you sell items to customers.

Nice and loud and works (kind of) with UK Ring alarm.
I purchased this to see if it I can get it to work the UK Ring Alarm. It's not officially supported but I figured Z-Wave is Z-Wave so took the plunge. You can add it as "Third party ZWave sensor" when clicking to add a sensor to the alarm. It comes up as a binary switch which can toggle the siren on and off. I then used SimpleCommands to trigger this upon the alarm being triggered. Strangely, you have to turn it on twice to get it to works sometimes, but easily worked round.

Not great poor battery
Nothing special. Small yes, comes with expired batteries no cable and no power adapter. I knew about the cable and power prior to purchase but was expecting something great after reading another review. Can be set to flash with siren using smartthings. You will struggle to get the back open, poor design. Hard to twist. Batteries alone will not last so you will need to invest in cable and power making this not as well priced in comparison to Aeon etc.

Small but mighty
*This thing is tiny!* I also have a D-link siren which has a huge footprint in comparison. This makes it so much easier to hide. *This thing is loud!* It is rated at 115dB which is ridiculously loud if accurate. Compared to my D-Link, the Zipato is significantly louder. Your ears will physically hurt if you turn it on in a small room. It can be powered by micro usb (cable or adapter not included) but it comes with a pair of CR123 batteries which should last for a year in standby, apparently. It's a bit tricky to open the siren back plate to install the battery and to set it to pairing mode, it needs a lot of force to rotate the cover, but if you'll only need to do that once a year that's not going to be a problem. It works with SmartThings but no advanced settings are available, just on or off. It's seamless with Home Assistant / Z-Wave JS UI and it exposes all the advanced parameters for the siren/doorbell. At £26 this was definitely worth the money, but when I checked back to order another one the price is now almost double at £47

You’ve been warned!
I bought it for £14. Don’t pay more than that. As mentioned in other reviews. 1/ difficult to open the back lid. poor design to access the batteries. 2/ flat batteries produced in 2018. Not the regular ones. So you ll spend even more for good batteries CR123A 3/ no usb cable and so on. Fair enough I m not sure I would leave that cheap stuff plugged all day. It would become a fire hazard so remove the batteries. 4/ pros, it is really over 100db, connects fine with smartthings without issues. 5/ Buy again? Nah… I’m in ireland, the price of a pair of batteries cost more than the siren itself. 6/ exchange it? Nah… not worth the pain to send it back and I believe that s the strategy of the seller. Best
