I no longer have the air admission valve in front of me but off the top of my head I would say 4- 5 inches! Keep in mind that you might need some type of adapter if the bottom threads don’t match what you’re trying to vent!

Yes. It is supposed to be installed under your sink. Ask Lowe’s or Home Depot or your plumber. I installed it myself

I have a copper drain pipe can this be use and why should i use this vs not using it?

Yes you can use on copper, you should use if not you will get gases that are harm full , also it keeps out the smell l , as far as venting the pipe it will work without valve
