Review: Great color, easy to work with - The fondant has a great dark even black color. It is not sticky, nor is it too dry, I found it very easy to work with. The package doesn’t seem like it will be enough but it was plenty. I used it to cover a small-ish (6” +board in top) graduation hat cake, and I still had a decent amount leftover to cut out some letters that I put on the cake board, and there is still about a third of the package leftover. I don’t usually like eating fondant but the flavor was pleasant.

**Q: These 24 ounce packages can cover what sizes cakes?**

**Q: can it be molded into 3D shapes?**
A: Definitely. Modeling chocolate might work better, but I’ve used this to mold 3D shapes on cakes.

**Q: What is the expiry date on this?**
A: There is a code on bottom of box. First two numbers are year made and rest are month and day.  Fondant is supposedly good for two years.

**Q: Once i receive the fondant do i have to put it in the fridge?**
A: Hello! We would recommend storing fondant in a cool dry place in an airtight container.

The fondant has a great dark even black color. It is not sticky, nor is it too dry, I found it very easy to work with. The package doesn’t seem like it will be enough but it was plenty. I used it to cover a small-ish (6” +board in top) graduation hat cake, and I still had a decent amount leftover to cut out some letters that I put on the cake board, and there is still about a third of the package leftover. I don’t usually like eating fondant but the flavor was pleasant.

Perfect for black fondant needs! Quality is good, it has good elasticity. Taste and texture is as good as it gets with fondant. I was able to roll it out with no problems. I haaaate making red and black fondant from scratch… too messy. So this is a great alternative. Color was great!
