No regrets here!
Went from wondering where all the creepy-crawlies were coming from, to not missing them in the least. It's summer and the heat has sent the earwigs and ants searching - the earwigs want refuge from the heat, and the ants are all searching for the meaning of life. I used a hand-held motorized spreader to broadcast this stuff at the perimeter of my fence, and all around the perimeter of my home - took me all of about 10 minutes to spread about two pounds. I haven't seen one creepy-crawlie critter since, so I have to presume this stuff is doing an awesome job. I have a known carpenter ant nest or two in the trees beyond my back fence - I spotted them back there beyond my fence being very active one night after dark, so I knew I'd eventually have a lil fight on my hands. I soon began seeing them here and there around the back of the house, but they were staying outside best I could tell. However, when I started seeing the occasional earwig here and there INSIDE, well ... that was the final straw. Did a Google, learned I could handle at least those two creepy-crawlies (and more) with this one bait, and I was hooked. The 10-pound bag was the better buy, so that's what I selected. Probably have enough to last well into next year!

Bye-Bye little ants
We believe these little granules really help keep ants at bay in the upper Midwest. I have no idea how or why there are so many ants in our town, but thanks to Niban we won't be falling into a giant ant farm underground when the great big earthquake happens.

Kinda recommend kinda don’t
Update: sep. 18, 2020 okay this product does work. Although it did take a little longer to work on the ants they did eventually go away. So I think this product does work great and lasts for about 6 months to a year so paying this once a year for my home isn’t a problem but like I said if you have a bigger home/yard you will need two! I attached a picture of my yard to give you all an idea of how much you will need. I practically used the whole container for my front yard side and the back of my house. June2020. So I’m still on the fence about this so let’s start at the beginning. Shipping was fine it arrived when it was supposed to. The container it easy to hold and sprinkle. But honestly if you have a big yard you would need two and looking at the price who would want to buy two not knowing if it would work or not. My house isn’t that big (single family 2br home )and I dang near used the the whole container Sprinkling this evenly from my front door all over my front yard the sides of the house and the back. Literally not even 1 fourth of the container left probably half of that last fourth. Now I will say I had BIG crickets in my home for some reason idk why I just moved here and that’s what made me buy this. The crickets are GONE I haven’t seen one since I used this but the ants will not go away maybe they’re immune or something idk. So if you have a cricket problem or maybe some other type of other insect like spiders or whatever this will work good.

Works as advertised
This product works great for earwigs. We are currently in the middle of an insane earwig infestation. Typical spray or bait was not successful. After applying the Niban, it had immediate results by morning.

Great product/Bad handling
Love this product, it does work - it does take a bit of time it is a bait not instant kill. I ordered a new container for work (since mine busted), but due to poor package handling it spilled. Wish there was a seal under the lid to keep it from spilling out for cases just like this. I am waiting to hear back from the company (which is a great company/top notch!)

Did exactly what I needed it to do!
I don’t often write reviews, but I came back specifically to write a review about this product. We were having problems with tiny ag beetles getting into our house. There were hundreds (likely thousands we couldn’t see) in our backyard. We even have a pest control service that sprays monthly. But these bugs were just not dying…that is until I purchased these granules. These work really well and purchased more immediately as back up. I highly recommend!

Good product
This has worked better than anything else so far. It’s called the Trojan Horse for a reason. I put it where the ants were and for about a week there were tons of ants all around it. I kept pouring more. Sure enough, after 7 - 10 days, no more ants. The trick is not to spray the ants, just let them eat, and take it back to the colony.

Biological Warfare against bugs - if you understand how it works
It's a war out there and if you don't want to fight bugs every day, use Niban as your ultimate weapon. I recommend a cheap battery powered handheld spreader - about $15 - to provide an even spread around the perimeter of your home. The spreader prevents waste and ensures new colonies will be kept at bay. You can also get it with a shaker jug, but I prefer the spreader much more. It is weatherproof, so you can apply it as long as there is no standing water to wash it away. Bugs eat it and it just prevents them from extracting nutrition from food. It does not kill on contact and will NOT work overnight - it takes a couple days before they suddenly disappear. It is safe for bees, birds and pets and can be used indoors. They make a "Fine Granular" powder with "FG" behind the name in order to get into cracks and tight spaces indoors. The regular Niban can be used indoors and out and it has no odor. The best part is that you only need to apply it every 3-4 months and bugs do NOT develop a tolerance for it.
