Usually go for canvas ones but figured I'd try something slightly different this time.Pros: a nice picture. More than enough paint and you can request refills if you run outCons: many colours are see through unless you puddle it while others are very streaky. You need to number the pots yourself. Frames are very expensive.I waited until I finished it to write my review. To begin with, it surprised me that I had to number my own pots. Usually this came numbered already for cheaper paint by number sets. Not something that was difficult to do but not something I expected to have to do myself.Once I started on it, I noticed that many of the colours are very see through. Especially the yellows and oranges (which there are a lot of). You either have to go over then multiple times or puddle the paint on to make sure it's covered. I tried my best to apply it in thick layers, using the paint directly and wiping the paintbrush clean rather than washing it between colours. But still some areas you can see the numbers through.Some of the darker colours, particularly the dark reds, ended up very streaky. Again you had to either puddle the paint on or go over it multiple times.It already takes hours to paint it, I don't want to waste time having to repaint it again other than if I choose to add some texture to certain areas. But I think I will have to do so for this painting as there just so many spots that you can see the numbers and lines through the paint or can see streaks.I haven't had as many issues with the paints with any of my past paintings as I've had with this one.I then looked at the frames to put the paintings in and found that they cost more than the painting itself. Laut Angaben, sollte nur der Karton beschädigt sein, was auch der Fall war. Hätte ich das nicht im Vorraus gewusst, wäre es mir allerdings auch nicht aufgefallen.Dler Pinsel ist viel zu groß für die kleinen Felder und wenn ihr, wie ich, sehr perfektionistisch seid, werdet ihr euch ständig darüber aufregen, dass ihr mit diesem Pinsel über die Linien malt. Ich habe mich mittlerweile damit abgefunden und denke, dass das dem Bild vielleicht etwas mehr Individualität verleiht.Die meisten meiner Farben waren ausgetrocknet. Zumindest glaube ich nicht, dass sie so fest sein sollten wie meine. Sie haben eine gummiartige Konsistenz und die Farben die nicht ausgetrocknet sind, haben so eine schwere Konsistenz, dass ein Verteilen und Gleichmäßiges Auftragen einfach nur misslingen kann.Die Farben mit der festen Konsistenz habe ich mit meinen eigenen Acryl Farben gemischt, damit sie ihren Farbton behalten und leichter auzuftragen sind. Die ausgetrockneten Farben habe ich bisher versucht selber mit meinen Farben zu mischen. Es ist allerdings etwas frustrierend das überhaupt machen zu müssen.Ich habe das Bild für mich gekauft und bin froh es nicht verschenkt zu haben. Sonst würde sich der/die Beschenkt am Ende nur ärgern.Fazit: kauft euch ein großes Malen nach Zahlen nur, wenn ihr auch bereits seit die Utensilien wie Farbe, Pinsel usw.
