Definitely it is wood based but the strength I expect wasn't upto mark. But we only have to use it for religious purposes so it doesn't matter .Overall its a good experience to buy this for my new house.

The design shown is not even close to what I received. Please post original photos. Its just a waste of time and money.

I already knew that it would be smaller but it is a bit more smaller than my imagination. For the money you are paying. I would say it not value for money. Your nearby carpenter or shop can easily give you this in 500/- less maybe. I checked it in my location. The only thing I loved and appretiate is the hardwork done by the people who made it. But I doubt they are getting in the ratio of what we are paying. If there's a trader selling these by procuring these from the artisan's then its sure that artisan's who have done all the hardwork must not be getting there real due for their hardwork. Actually we are paying premium for this plywood made temple. And this premium should go to the people who have made it. One last this is it has got two small drawers one at the bottom is bigger and the one just above the bigger one is small. The smaller drawer was made upside down and is of no use. I have provide the pictures. I could have returned the product due to this defect. But I chose not to because it will pain the seller. But the seller should personally check every peice before shipping the product. At last it beautiful but not value for money. Seller is minting money but not checking the final product before shipping, because of this buyers are getting defective products.

Perfect weight and nice design, looks elegant and sturdy too.

The painting shown in photographs is much more professional than what I actually received. Feels like it's been painted by a kid. Also finishing is bad at many spots.

Price is high but loved the product, it goes with my wall color and size is perfect as expected , satisfied with product nd u guys can buy without second thought
