can you use 10lb line on the 5000 series reel ?

You could put 2lb line on it if you wanted. Nothing would be stopping you. Normally for a 5000 size reel you would use 40-50lb braid, but you do you.

I ordered the 3000 and it came with line aready on it without any information about the test size. Is this normal?

That's not normal. The reel was shipped by Amazon Fulfillment Centers, Amazon may shipped other customer's returned reel to you. KastKing don't sell used reels and all the reels should be brand new, please contact our customer service for help.

Which one will work for small fish like trout and salmon?

I bought the 3000 and its the perfect size ( use it for bass etc) i would assume the 2000 would be good for brookies etc

I am going to be Musky fishing in a river where long casts are with a 9'-10' rod which size would be reccomended? mLong Casts needed.

The 4000 or 5000 models should be plenty. With the larger line capacity and 30+lbs of drag you shouldn't have any issues outside of the normal musky fishing headaches. To maximize line capacity I like using Power Pro line and a 100lb fluorocarbon leader.
